Hidden gem just off the highway. Was hesitant to try it but so glad we did. The food is authentic and made in house. No added msg which we love. We have been there twice and all the dishes we ordered have been very tasty. We tried their lunch set which is perfect portions. Next time we ordered regular size so we could share with the table. Our favourites is their vegetarian spring roll and green curry! Will definitely be our go to dine out options around town.

If you happen to be in the area or just driving by, try this place out. It feels like you’ve been invited over for dinner at your grandparents place. Honestly, very friendly and inviting. The food was amazing and our experience was great. The highway was shutdown for a couple of hours and we were so thankful this place was open and accommodating to our party size. Thanks for the pleasurable dining experience!

What a fantastic find. Just past the Coombs market on the left side going to Tofino is this Thai restaurant. Owned and run by a Thai family that are super friendly. We stopped for lunch and ordered off the lunch combo menu. Food came quicklyly and was deliscious. Plenty of parking. Inside is simply decorated. The stars of this place are the yummy food and great service. Highly recommend.

Authentic Thai food. Family run who works really hard to ensure best service.
My only warning is for the city folks that have never smelled well water, the bathroom water is really strong smell. Drinking water is great but be prepared if you need to use the washroom.

Really happy we found this place. We wanted something quick and healthy for lunch, not sandwiches or whatever and 5 mins later saw Thai Smile. We were in there for probably 25 mins – super fast service, great quality food and very reasonable cost. $17.50 for a lunch meal with rice and a salad and spring rolls.

Our first time was a great experience. The service was fast and very personable. The food was very tasty with perfect portions. The coconut rice tasted like a desert to me and the yellow curry was fantastic! A little on the spicy side for my wife who had a delicate tummy but for the normal people “mild” was perfect. The price was the most reasonable Ive seen in a long time so I was glad to tip on the higher side. Will be going back again for sure.

I recommend Pad Thai with prawn. It’s so delicious, just like eating in Thailand. Anyone passing this way (HWY to Port Alberni from Coombs Area) must come and try it.
