This little Mexican spot is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, it feels cozy and welcoming — small in size but big on flavor.
Let’s start with the drinks… top tier. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re going for a margarita or something else off the menu, they know what they’re doing behind the bar.
The burrito? Out of this world. Packed with flavor in every bite, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned without feeling overwhelming. You can tell everything is made fresh.
And the chips and bean dip deserve their own spotlight. The chips were big, crispy, and airy — that perfect crunch that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. The bean dip was absolutely incredible. So good, I had to order some to go. Rich, flavorful, and seriously addictive.
If you’re looking for a small Mexican restaurant that delivers big taste and great drinks, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back.

First time here – had a deal on inKind. Cozy bar atmosphere on the inside – very small. No wait for a table, sat on the enclosed deck which looked like it’d be cold but was actually toasty warm & comfortable! Disappointed they do not give you complimentary chips & salsa like any other Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were good. The food came fast, but was just ok, not great. My boyfriend had the taco pocket & said the gringo beef was kind of bland. I had the quesadillas, toasted to perfection where it’s crispy on outside but tender inside! But both the spicy chicken and crema were flavored a little strangely; we would’ve preferred plain sour cream. Friendly service, but had to go inside and ask for the bill after sitting quite a while after the table was already cleaned off. Decent place, but way too expensive for what you get, even with a deal. Probably wouldn’t go there again.

Amazing food! My husband and I came soon as they opened up on a Tuesday. You can tell the place is pretty popular and can get packed quickly because 30 mins later people start rolling in.
I had the classic margarita which was very good. I had the spicy chicken taco pocket and my husband, the beef it was very good and filling. We could have easily split it! Highly recommend coming here

Paloma Taco and Tequila is a small restaurant with surprisingly good food considering the location. The bartender was friendly and the waitress was somewhat friendly after warming up. We did feel at times we waited longer than we should have for drinks for both alcohol and waters. We went late afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. We ordered a lot of food and wanted to try everything as it was our first time. The Fat Elvis was so good we ordered one and had to order a second one because of how good it was. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Wonderful catering done by Palomas! We catered an event for around 40 people. Pattie and her team were incredibly helpful in guiding us on what and how much to order. They delivered and set up everything so quickly (and even worked around a blown fuse at our venue). We had several dietary restrictions in our group, and the Palomas team was able to accommodate them all. The food was absolutely delicious, and came in generous portions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to cater an event!

Great little hidden gem in Wauwatosa! They serve elevated Mexican cuisine in a cute cantina environment.
The place can get crowded during dinner, but it’s worth the wait! The hot chips are terrific as is the burrito! Make sure to get it smothered!

I have wanted to try Paloma for a while now, and finally got the chance to stop in! For a weekday night, it was busy! We waited about 20 minutes for a seat at the bar area, but we did get served drinks while we waited. We got their margarita to start while we waited.
The staff was all very friendly and attentive and the inside is well decorated and welcoming. Though, when it is colder out, I do wish the waiting area was a little bigger.
After getting seated at the bar we ordered chips, salsa, and queso and they were gone in a blink of an eye. We also ordered the house infusion margarita, pineapple jalapeno, yum! It was the perfect spicy margarita and paired well with our entrees. We enjoyed the Paloma Taco Pocket, Spicy Chicken Taco, and the Gringo All the Way! Taco. The flavors were amazing and we will definitely be back for more!

This place is definitely a neighborhood favorite. The server seemed to know a number of the clientele. There is seating at the bar and a few tables inside, as well as the side walk. It gets loud, but atmosphere is friendly.
We tried 6 of their 9 taco selections. Every single one was made to order, packed with flavor and filling. My personal favorites were the shrimp on a tostada, and the ahi tuna also on the crunchy flat shell.

The food was unremarkable. Not bad, but the smothered burrito wasn’t worth coming back for. Not as much meat as I would have liked and the flavor just didn’t pop. It was covered in cheese and cooked again to kinda burn the cheese which DID taste pretty good. To be sitting at the bar, in front of the staff, we weren’t really taken care of. I like suggest stopping in and forming your own opinion but form me, it’s on to the next one.
