In such cold weather we all wanted a bowl of hot broth so a Pho Bo seemed like a good idea. Friendly service and the food was not bad – if the prices were more Parisian than small town Finnish. The beef was a bit too cooked for our taste (maybe should have asked for Pho Bo Tai), but the broth was flavourful and we appreciated that they had the spicier red chillies.

Positive for this shop is on the city centre not difficult to find. However, inside the shop was bit cramped and heavy smoke due to lack of fan extractor. Be prepared your hair and coat stained some oil and odour. Ordered beef pho paid extra €2 and came with only extra 1 meatball which was cut in 4 pieces and never realized meatball was so pricey in my life before. Foods were ok not overly authentic and shop only had two workers so was bit slow. Price was bit high and overrating on reviews however I would expected more bigger portion than that. Anyway, is not a must to have Asian broth with noodles during holiday not unless you are that desperate!

Maybe they were really busy, but we waited a really long time to get seated and an even longer time to order. It took even longer to get our food. And it didn’t even hit the spot. It was really nice to find Asian food tho in Finland lol.

A family-run Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered a spring roll, one with chicken and the other with shrimp, which came with a sauce on the side that was very tasty. We also ordered chicken pho soup, which was excellent, and beef pho soup, and the beef pieces were really tough. We also drank bubble tea and overall we really enjoyed it. Recommended

Saigon Noodle Bar is a simple yet convenient Vietnamese restaurant located in the town of Rovaniemi. The interior is basic but comfortable, offering a casual dining experience. One of the highlights is their lunchtime set meal, which includes a main dish, a simple salad bar with Vietnamese-style dressing, coffee or tea, and a small selection of cookies—a nice sweet touch from the restaurant.
We ordered the dry pho with stir-fried chicken and pork. The flavors were really nice, and the portion size was just right. It’s a great spot to satisfy Asian food cravings while traveling.
While it may not be as authentic as what you’d find in Vietnam or other Asian countries, the food is still enjoyable and well-prepared. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for a comforting, flavorful meal!

No pictures because we scarffed down all the food very quickly. On a cold snowy day it was perfect for beef Pho! The broth was so delicious. It didn’t come with all the toppings you might expect but it came with lime, red onion, and lime. Still delicious. We also got the fresh rolls w shrimp and the fried spring rolls with chicken. The friend spring rolls were very crispy and crunchy. So good. Warmed my soul!

In a cold winter like this in Rovaniemi, you have to take a pho with hot soup and all the add ons it can get! My favourite in the town!
The staff are really friendly and helpful, even add more warmness to the atmosphere. I’ve took the special pho + extra tofu + chicken hot spring, all of them right into my taste! Sweeping out all the coldness. Thank you!
