I got meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes and gravy. I didn’t ask, but they didn’t tell me they were served with white gravy. I tasted them and they were very bland and too buttery. Not creamy/thick. The meatloaf was also very bland. Unseasoned meat and very little ketchup on top of the meatloaf. $14 overall.

– Food was okay. Not bad but not anything I would seek out. Exactly what I would expect from a greasy spoon type place.
– Service was good. Was seated quickly, and food arrived within 15 minutes. Would recommend getting there before the church crowd otherwise you will have to wait. This place gets busy.
– Price was good. Spend $22 on two plates.
– Atmosphere was meh, lots of religious and Trump messaging. Bathroom needs a paint job.

The staff was very nice. We got our meal to go and I didn’t check the sandwich before I left, even though I should have. There’s a 2inch square of cheese and maybe half an egg. This is exactly how it looked when I opened it. It was around $6.

My son and I finally tried this local Easley treasure. It’s tucked back off the street but close enough to Main St to watch the train go by. We had a very late breakfast, so it wasn’t crowded. Friendly service and good food. The eggs over medium with bacon and grits and toast was spot on. Eggs done just right and bacon very crispy, but not burned. We’ll be back.

Great home cooking! Service is excellent!! Got greeted at the door immediately, and seated right away.
The fried chicken was room temperature. The greens needed seasoning.
But overall, a great experience. Very popular spot for the after church crowd, so plan accordingly.

Nice little place with some good home cooking. My husband and I came here for the first time and I can’t wait to go back. Try the mac and cheese pie it is absolutely delicious. But then again everything was delicious.

please understand that when you come to this hole in the wall restaurant (& yes, i’m aware 99% of the time those little small town, hole in the wall restaurants are the best, this was the other 1%) that you will be served food that is days old & won’t even be room temp. my son, boyfriend & i were starving & i was craving a meat & three so we decided to go there for the first & last time.
my boyfriend & i both got the meat & 3, i got my son a cheeseburger plate. my sons food was perfect, no complaints there. however the 2 meat & 3s were cold, not even remotely warm & tasted a few days old. i took 1 bite of mine, my boyfriend took 2 & i refused to eat anymore. (the pics attached are literally what the plates looked like when i walked away) when the waitress came back to my table, i just let her know that the cheeseburger was fine, it tasted fresh but the other 2 were terrible. that i would be glad to pay for the cheeseburger plate & even the drinks. i made sure i did so in a very kind manner & told her it wasn’t her fault, she did nothing wrong. the lady cooking however, came to the register & yelled from across the restaurant at me that “she was right there & i could come talk to her” so i did. & explained the same thing, in the same exact manner to her. she then tells me all she can do is take 1 of the 2 plates off. I told her i didn’t see it was right to charge me for 2 plates that literally tasted days old & wasn’t even warm. she then started raising her voice at me & kept yelling that that’s how it works, if i come in & order something i have to pay for it whether it was worth a damn or not.
idk what kind of business believes in this statement, but i guarantee you if I go to a drive through, & the food is that horrible, they aren’t going to charge me for it or will at the very least apologize & attempt to make it right. definitely not treat me as if I was the one to serve them cold, old food & expect them to eat it & pay for it.
I guess that’s my fault for not checking those google reviews ahead of time. as far as atmosphere, you’re literally met with far right political signs that may leave a bad taste in your mouth.
