We really enjoyed our visit to The Hangar Bar & Grill in Casper. We started with the Texas Twinkies, which were excellent. My wife had the peach pulled pork sandwich, and I went with the country fried steak served with fries and mac & cheese—everything was tasty and satisfying. We also loved the design of the restaurant, with its unique setting in an old airport hangar and the interesting history behind the location. Our waiter was attentive, though a little inexperienced, but overall service was good. The prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re in the area.

We went at about 2 PM on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all, although they did have a private party in the bounce house room.

My husband and I split the honey sesame shrimp appetizer. Very good, slightly crispy with just a hint of spiciness to it.
Then we split the Smashburger with fries. It was good except for on the menu. It said it comes with sauce and there was no sauce on it. But the waitress was very accommodating and immediately got us some. We’ve been on the road for quite a while and the prices here were exceptional.
Lots of things on the menu we’d like to try. We definitely come here again. !!

Awesome place great for the kids and adults. Has a big jumping play pin for the kids while mom and dad get some food. Best of all it’s homemade mac & cheese so the kids get actually some decent food. The bartender Missy is a great waitress and she stays on top of it!! Gotta make sure you get her as your waitress so keep your cup full

We held a very large funeral at this establishment. They were excellent to work with and pulled off an amazing feat in a short amount of time. I can’t say enough good about the Hanger and the crew that works there. Thank you a million times!!

Great atmosphere and nice variety menu. Highly recommend the blackened chicken pasta! It’s spicy and delicious. Another great choice is the brisket sandwich with queso. Fries are yummy, side salads are large portion, and there’s a full bar.

Very cool history about the location and airplanes written on the menus. Great atmosphere. Kids loved the planes and the arcade. One game ate our quarters, but a server got us a refund. The food was good, the prices amazing, especially for feeding a family. Kids burger was yummy, kids pizza was huge, chicken quesadilla could have used more cheese (“but no regrets”), and my salmon with lemon pepper was FANTASTIC. Other family members tried it and made audible “Mmmm!” noises. Bathrooms are nice. Service was very friendly. Definitely worth the trip!

Im really torn about reviewing because though the food was great and my server was great I was really put off with the way the bartender was treating other staff. I have been in the hospitality industry for decades and bullying other waitstaff is never cool. Im seriously considering whether I should give $ to a business that allows that kind of behavior towards its employees by other employees. I can only assume that management thinks treating staff like crap is okay.
