This was such a pleasant surprise!!! I just happened to notice the restaurant and had to stop!! We, mom and me, really enjoyed our experience here!! Check it out!! Don’t forget to get the pigs in a blanket and pork rinds….your little belly…will be happy…happy…happy !!!

My husband and I stopped in here on a Sunday because we were at the antique mall next door on datenight and WOW
On Sundays they have a buffet, it is the tastiest buffet we’ve ever been too! My husband doesn’t generally like buffets because the self-serve one’s can be pretty gross from people serving themselves. This wasn’t the case, they had a plastic barrier and someone serving so it was hygienic.
Everything from the sides, the meats, and all the sauces were amazing! My husband’s favorite sauce was the Sweet Chili, I liked the Hot Honey.
10/10 will be back again.

Never ate bbq pulled pork that was better. Crisp edges, sweet, salty and perfectly smokey on a fresh toasted bun. Slaw was tangy with a great crunch that means fresh. Iced tea was perfectly brewed, just like the service. Split a sandwich, slaw, with two drinks the bill was about $14. Nice staff – a nice find on a lazy Thursday afternoon.

Thank you for catering our company picnic! The smell of the food filled the air and instantly made everyone hungry! The meat was excellent and did not necessarily need any sauce, but the sauces were just the cherry on top! Corn was awesome and the hash brown casserole was fantastic! You have 35 new fans!

Ordered the sampler platter which comes with brisket, pulled pork, a half rack of pork ribs, chicken, and texas toast. It also comes with 3 sides, of which I chose the mac n’ cheese, baked beans, and corn.
Got there shortly after they opened on a Monday. Despite that, the food was lukewarm with the brisket looking more like roast beef (no visible pink smoke rings, meat darker than it should be on the inside, not very moist), and the pork ribs were dry and tough with large pieces of unchewable gristle.
The sides were quite flavorful, but come in very small portioned cups which is disappointing considering the high price of the sampler platter. I have to wonder if I would’ve received better portions on the sides if I just ate in instead.
Unfortunately, they also forgot the corn and texas toast in the order as well, so I had to drive back. The lady running the register and phone was very polite and corrected it though, which I appreciated.
Overall? I’m a bit disappointed and underwhelmed considering I’ve been craving BBQ and Harrodsburg desperately needs more variety restaurant-wise instead of more pizza chains and fast food. Hopefully it’s just growing pains from opening recently, and them being so busy. I do highly appreciate and respect how open they are about their faith though.

I showed up just after the doors had closed, but the owners were so kind in making an exception and letting me order some takeout for the fam. We got pork, chicken and brisket and all three were a hit. Best brisket I’ve ever had. The exceptional service, followed by great barbecue, will have me coming back soon!

My husband (who is from Alabama) and I love BBQ so we were excited to try Bama’s Blessing. The staff was nice but our food took a very long time for just two people. It was a weeknight and not busy. The pulled pork was good but all of my sides were not good. A couple of them were really almost inedible. The street corn was one note and just tasted like cayenne pepper. The hash brown casserole was dry and had no flavor. The Mac n cheese was also not very good. We wanted to like this restaurant so we were kind of disappointed. I also realized when I left I didn’t get the Texas toast that came with the meal. The staff seem very nice and friendly and we wish them well but we don’t see ourselves returning anytime soon.

This review is difficult for me to write, as the customer service was top notch. Seriously, some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Server was super nice and the lady up front was extremely friendly.
Unfortunately, the food was just not good. My family loves BBQ restaurants, and we were just disappointed. My fiancee ordered a chicken philly sandwich. It was absolutely soggy and inedible. My pulled pork was overcooked. I could have overlooked it, but the sides were not good either. I ordered coleslaw and pasta salad. I am definitely a sides girl. It was unfortunately very disappointing. I could not eat it.
My children liked their food, so that is why I rated the food two stars.
