The quality of the food is very good. Tasty fish with crispy batter which was not too heavy nor oily.
A lot of chips. Coleslaw is also tasty.
Would go there again.
This is my first time here as our favourite fish and chip shop changed ownership and went downhill.
Win against the big brand name franchise stores.
I was recommended by an employee where I work to come here. Portions were actually a good decent size and from what I was told, you can buy just the pieces of fish and then add fries on its own, but will have to try that out next time. I just really wanted a good spot to have some lunch.
This definitely hit the spot. The fish tasted awesome and when you add the malt vinegar and some lemon to it, flavour and deliciousness is elevated.
One thing I don’t do at fish and chips spots is ketchup. I just don’t think it’s needed and you just get that fried taste that much more
Service was great. I believe it was the owner who pointed out the daily special which is what everyone gets. Got my food fairly quickly and when I went on a Wednesday lunch time, it wasn’t busy, but it was steady enough.
Parking is very easy. A super large plaza and plenty of parking spots available for this section of the plaza.
Great job overall
The owner was friendly and courteous as well.
First of all I will say I loved it. I had the halibut special and haddock special. The batter had the perfect light crisp I enjoyed. U can actually taste the fish instead of a overly greasy batter at most places. The oil was fresh, as it did not have that dark oily and greasy feel in the fish and fries. The fries were fresh home cut and very crispy.
The owner was very welcoming and hard hard working. Enjoyed the conversation with him about his history.
