I’ve gone a few times and enjoyed every time. Good smothered pork chops, fried chicken, Hennessy wings, catfish, however the beef short ribs 10/10!! The sides are pretty good. I usually get rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, or greens. I’ll give the sides a solid 7/10. They fry to order so it can be a wait for certain items.

I ordered through Uber Eats I got the pot roast, they literally gave me a small piece of pot roast and the rest was vegetables lol. Food is very salty! I wouldn’t order here again, such a rip off. I paid too much money for this plate to get a piece of meat lol.

Okay the food use to be good, however things have changed. My most recent visit I ordered smothered chicken. It was baked chicken, and they poured gravy over it, the chicken was not done, it literally was blood inside. I had string beans that was over seasoned the whole meal was terrible. I couldn’t even eat it. This isn’t the first time either, I decided to do the review this time just to let them know. I’m done with Oh Wee, I spent over $40 and both dinners were terrible.

Overall, my experience was just okay. I ordered the baked chicken with greens and green beans. Unfortunately, the baked chicken was very dry and lacked flavor. The greens and green beans were decent and probably the best part of the meal, but nothing particularly memorable.
What was most disappointing, however, was the cucumber mint lemonade. It was advertised as a “customer favorite,” which made me expect something fresh and unique. Instead, it tasted exactly like regular powdered lemonade—very similar to Country Time or Crystal Light. There was no noticeable cucumber or mint flavor at all. It honestly felt misleading given how it was promoted on the menu.
I understand that not every dish will be perfect, but advertising a drink as a specialty or favorite when it tastes like basic powdered lemonade was extremely disappointing.

Pretty bad food. Avoid at all costs unless you like the caustic high salt and high sugar. Vegetarian here. So usually I get whatever side platter there is. 3 sides for the price is a rip off. Should be 4 minimum.
Greens too vinegary and salty. Made my stomach upset. Sweet potatoes are just pure sugar. The mac is barley passable.

I was extremely disappointed with my food order! The food was terrible!!! Everything was extremely bland, no flavor!!! The Mac n cheese was dry and tasted old! And, same as the candied yams!!! No flavor at all!!! And, they were not fresh with a bunch of strings!!! I wish I can get an order replaced or my money back!!!

It’s no longer black owned. The whole atmosphere is off. I walk in and they’re playing Mexican music, and a Mexican man walking behind the counter with an attitude. They just got the last $35 from me. I’ll be going up the street to Simply Shae. How are you serving soul food to blacks but playing Latino music. It’s the audacity for me. No respect. Then don’t smile or greet anyone!

The manager/owner said that it was a door dash issue. How is your business giving me the wrong food a door dash issue? I will never give them my money again.

Let’s talk about it! I didn’t get the oooh wee feel! First time visitor…I did not know it was a buffet style setup (not self serving). The attitude of the servers was not as welcoming… The yams were definitely a no for me! Definitely no! The greens were spicy, but not unbearable. The lemonade was okay…but I did overhear this one customer tell someone she drives 40mins out just for the Obama Tea! The pork chops were okay… nothing was so spectacular! I will say the gravy was seasoned nicely and the rice was cooked well. Parking was ample and the pricing was okay. Would i recommend it?! Probably yes; but it wouldn’t be a first choice.

Came in during lunch rush everything looked up to part before I ordered because I seen so man recent bad reviews. I got the pork chops, yams, Mac and cheese and green beans just in case the sides weren’t right. NONE OF MY SIDES tasted good I was very disappointed it’s bare minimum the mac and cheese just was cheese and noodles. My pork chop and rice were fine. So sad they fell off don’t think because it look ok in the display that it taste the same way because it doesn’t.
