We were a little nervous when we walked in because there were no cars in the parking lot. When we walked inside the restaurant was empty. We decided to try this place anyway. We weren’t disappointed! We started with drinks. The house specialty drinks we had, the Mojito and St. Germaine Spritz were both excellent. The crab soup was one of the best I have had . And then there were the crab cakes! OMG! They serve them two ways. Deep fried and baked. I had both and both were fantastic! I will be stopping here again later in the week before we leave town – just to enjoy another serving of the crab cakes and crab soup. My wife had the Maryland Catfish which also was delicious.

This place is a gem! Right on the road to Ocean City (technically the road out of OC) Great fresh seafood at decent prices. Better than several places I’ve gone in Baltimore. The cream of crab was thick and flavorful, fresh fried calamari and the fried catfish had good flavor and a very light crispy batter. They also serve steamed crabs by the dozen, ½ dozen and single crabs that, at least late in the season, were fantastically priced! Worth the drive!

Fresh crab in a meaty sandwich. Bun so good I could eat it alone. Fries are crispy, but not oily. Tartar sauce is good too. Nice place to stop by on a road trip, just make sure you call with 30 minutes advance. Would recommend to a friend, you might have to sell your arm though.

My favorite spot in Cambridge. Live music on Monday is a treat. They have the only mug club I’ve ever bought into – makes for cheaper beer and pays itself off quick. Staff are all friendly – welcoming to locals and tourists. All the food I’ve tried has been great. Seafood all seems to be fresh, if not local. Haven’t had a chance to attend while they’re seating outside or dealing with peak tourist season, but seems great based on visits in April. They were closed until recently – maybe always closed during off-season?

First time patron. Since we were the only customers we were seated promptly by our hostess and server Bailie. Bailie was friendy and explained various options to our order. We decided to order the fried oysters appetizer and the softcrab sandwich. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the fried oysters because they never brought them out. The softcrabs were really good, fried to perfection. They come with your choice of toppings, lettuce, tomatoes etc. You choose a side to accompany the entree which is either, cole slaw, side sald or fries. We both chose the cole slaw. The cole slaw was almost inedible, best way to describe it would be bland and tasteless. It tasted like it was old and cole slaw should be made fresh everyday. Plenty of parking, restrooms and dinning area were clean. I’ll give them another opportunity but since we don’t live in the area it will be awhile before we return.

Great place for seafood right in Cambridge MD. We were a larger group and they were able to accommodate us for dinner time. The tables were split and we had different servers so my review is based on our experience which was positive. We sat in the back picking room.
Service: our server, a young man was super sweet and attentive. He took our orders and kept us updated as things were coming out. The other table had a server who seemed annoyed the whole time and was hardly around or checked in on them – I guess depends on the server you get on how your experience will be.
Food: we ordered the brisket poutines (10/10), highly recommend, it was so good with the brisket and gravy and cheese. I would come back just for that. We also had the chicken wings – which was surprisingly tasty for a seafood spot. The wings were well seasoned, hot and crispy when they came out. The steamed crabs were good! We got 1/2 dz large ones and they had a good amount of meat but also very tasty.
Kids enjoyed the French onion soup and the burger and fries.
Overall, would recommend if you are in the area.

A great restaurant/bar… Ballie was my waitress and she was very friendly. She continued to check on me to make sure I had everything I needed and that my food was good. Well, it wasn’t good… it was great. I had the best soft shell crab sandwich and it came with a side of fries. The crab was simply delicious.
While I was there Travis, the owner of the restaurant came out to meet me and we talked for a bit about the Eastern Shore, the local fishery and what it’s like being in the restaurant business.
Needless to say, I was very pleased with the Ocean Odyssey Crab House Restaurant and I’ll definitely come back here again.

This is the restaurant my family never misses when we’re in Cambridge or passing through the city. During our most recent visit, we indulged in more than three dozen large crabs, and we relished every bite. The quality of each crab was outstanding, and it truly enhanced the entire dining experience. The crabs were incredibly sweet, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

Just wow. We are a seafood-loving family, and we had a wonderful experience. Snow crab legs, soft crab sandwiches, crab cake sandwich, broiled oysters, fried chicken sandwich, mahi mahi, individual blue crabs… All amazing. The soft crab sandwiches came with TWO crabs and we had to order more oysters they were so wonderful.
Our server was very sweet and attentive, especially given the size and volume of our party. I definitely recommend the spicy margarita

We arrived 30 mins before they close and the hotel recommended this place for the seafood option. Nice place and took us a minute to find the entrance. When you enter from the first entrance to the parking area, the entrance is the first door in the building. Very clean and nice indoor seating area with decorated walls with signs. We stayed a little bit after they close at 8. Easy way to order the food using a QR code. Took only 5 mins to get the food to the table after we order.
Dishes: food was amazingly delicious. All seafood was really fresh. All the dishes we got were equally perfect. The portion is also perfect per person. They had a lot of choices of beer and wine too. Little expensive. But fully worth it.
Drinks- beer Corona and IPA drafts and Lemonade
Entreè- Crab Cake, Fish and chips, Shrimp Tacos, and the bay on the bun.
Staff: staff was very friendly and active. Checked with us multiple times after foods were served.
Parking: plenty of parking on site.
Covid safety: Cleaning after occupancy. No mask requirements. Dine-in and outdoor seating are available
