The food here is excellent. I had the duck breast and it was delicious, my mom and sister each had steaks and they were perfectly prepared. They also make a good cocktail. Our server was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and upscale.

My husband and I have gone to Mills several times and always loved it. Today we went and noticed a menu change, which was fine. The server was excellent. We ordered medium steaks and it came out rare. We sent them back and it returned medium rare. We sent them back again my husbands returned ok, mine was still medium rare. I told them if they had to cut the filet to cook it correctly I didn’t care ( it was a thick steak). I finally got my steak, which they comped but honestly it was just too late at that point. My husband already ate, the sides were cold from sitting. Also we usually love the mushrooms everytime we have gone, this time there was no flavor or sauce that it normally comes in. I was told there is a new cook and some changes were made. We miss the old cook! The Mac and cheese wasn’t great either. Overall highly disappointing! Server was great though!

The food here was good! Kinda pricey, however I believe taste and portion size and the cute atmosphere made up for that. The only real complaints would be that it took a long time for food to come out and they seemed to be out of quite alot that was on the menu (however coming in after valentines day, I suppose that is to be expected) our waiter (Père I think?) Was amazing.

We went to Mills Tavern on a Monday night and had such a great experience. David was an exceptional server—warm, attentive, and genuinely made the night feel special. We’ll definitely be back on a Monday and will be requesting him. The support staff was fantastic, and we were even greeted by the manager, which was a really nice touch. There was no special occasion, so the level of care and attention made the whole evening feel extra special. Can’t wait to return.

The service is incredible and consistent with every single visit. We’ve always been made to feel like special guests and very well cared for. We are admittedly selective on food and where we choose to dine, and Mill’s Tavern is a true culinary GEM. Try anything, try everything. You won’t be disappointed! Additionally, I have celiac and they are extremely careful and aware with gluten concerns- I feel 100% safe ordering and eating there. Last, do yourself a favor and try the Sims Ave cocktail – my absolute favorite, which I order every single visit !!!!! Thank you Mills Tavern, you’re amazing!

We had the privilege of dining at Mills on Friday evening. As out-of-state visitors, our experience at this establishment will undoubtedly prompt us to return. From the complimentary valet service to the ambiance and cuisine, the overall experience was exceptional. The culinary offerings were of the highest quality, exceeding any preconceived notions we had. The restaurant also handled my dietary restrictions with the utmost care and sensitivity, allowing me to enjoy the meal without concern for any adverse reactions.
The main courses were so visually appealing that we neglected to photograph them, as we were compelled to immediately indulge. The mouthwatering quality of the cuisine exceeded our expectations.
I strongly recommend that you visit this restaurant, as you are sure to be thoroughly impressed.

Fantastic dinning experience!! Went there on a Sunday night during Providence Restaurant Week and the original menu looked so good that we couldn’t not eat off it!! Food was delicious!! We were well taken care of. Pierre was a wonderful server and Marcus the floor manager made sure we were enjoying our evening. Can’t wait to go back soon!!
