Long overdue review ! We were here in October of 2025 for a weekend trip. It was a little walk from our BnB and we were on the late side of breakfast so they would be closing soon. When I say we were blessed we came here we were! We got their cinnamon rolls and some coffee and we were in heaven! I must say we ate 2 cinnamon rolls and left with 2 more! I recommend !

What an incredible experience! We came in for breakfast and enjoyed every single dish. This will absolutely become a place we return to when visiting NOLA.
The catfish was tender and melted in our mouths. The shrimp and grits were wonderful. The french toast was fluffy. The side of sausage is a must!

I am a Louisiana native, by resides in Texas. We stumbled upon this gem ✨️ by happened chance and we were truly blessed by the food but mostly by the service. The owner personally makes the grits and serves you WITH the best genuine Hospitality I have ever experienced and it’s usually in these types of establishments that you get the service that you never expect. The food was served beautifully with love and hospitality Southern HOSPITALITY that is. She always made sure to come back and check on us to make sure we had all that we needed and if we were pleased with the food she even gave us a little history on some of the menu items. You can tell she put a lot of love into her restaurant because it comes through with her service and food we will be back.

If you are looking for a quaint breakfast spot, look no further! The service was top notch & the food!!! My husband said this is the best breakfast he’s had in awhile! I can concur that the French toast is perfect! We’re in town til Tuesday – we’ll be back!

I am so glad my sister found this cafe and that we decided to come have brunch. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and quality food. Shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly and my French toast was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The fruit was so fresh too. All the coffee drinks we ordered were sooo good and made picture perfect. Cannot say enough about how genuine the atmosphere and service was as well. Everyone was so nice, accommodating, and we had great conversation with some of the staff! I would 100% come back and I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting NOLA. It’s worth it to come here, trust me! A hidden gem!

We stopped in for brunch as a group of three and had such a great experience. From the moment we sat down, our server was genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely welcome without ever hovering. You can tell she truly cares about her guests.

Incredible food and wonderful owners. I came into town for my grad school graduation and we found this place. The French toast simply melts in your mouth and coffee that was scrumptious. My husband and kids devoured their dishes as well! Finding out our server was from Jamaica (like us) just added to the wonderful experience. Definitely will be back!

Ordered the Lakeview with the grilled catfish – perfectly cooked. Had a fruit bowl as a side, and it had a great selection and all perfectly ripe. The staff were courteous, attentive, and very friendly. The owner was working on a new coldbrew recipe and asked for our opinions on flavor. As coffee lovers, we thought it was perfect .

We were in NOLA for Mardi Gras last month. Saw the great reviews for Cafe Porche on Google and it was near our Airbnb, so we walked over for breakfast. The restaurant did NOT disappoint – It was a calm respite when the city was otherwise crazy and chaotic. The people here are truly amazing – so warm and friendly. They give the impression that they would actually give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. The food and coffee were fantastic. Highly recommend and would definitely come back here again.
