In most recent times, the quality of the food has gone noticeably downhill. To the point where it tastes and looks concerning to eat. Not to mention, there is a bad smell in the restaurant and I saw a roach one time.
The experience that really topped it for me was a time when I went up to order. I kindly asked the lady who was taking the order if a particular menu was available (because sometimes they are limited and menu options come and go). Instead of her simply answering with a yes, she decided to rudely raise her arms toward the menu and turn around to it then turn back at me with a blank stare. Without saying a single word.
I was astonished because I had never seen this type of rude – unnecessary passive aggressive behavior from an employee – let alone at a place I’ve been going to since I grew up. I ignored it and just ordered the menu.
My only rationale is that she was having a bad day or was stuck in an unfortunate situation. I believe her name was either Lilly or Lilliana.
On the bright side, there is another lady who works there who has been there for many years. She has always been kind and professional. I appreciate her a lot. I don’t recall her name but if I find it I’ll leave another positive review I believe I’ve seen her at Our Lady of the Valley church. I’ve seen her working there since I was a kid. Fantastic, humble working woman who needs a raise.
It takes like soda with melted ice without ice even added.
I made an order on DoorDash twice and both times they were canceled.
The first order was canceled instantly and the second order went through, but then 20 minutes later was canceled. DoorDash told me to call the store to ask why my order was canceled.
I called both times the first time was annoying but the second call was DISRESPECTFUL.
I’ve been coming to this location since I was 12 years old, I am now 33 and never had an issue until now. I understand it was online and maybe there was something wrong with their online system but instead of saying, “ I didn’t get it ” having an attitude, getting loud and interrupting customers. Employees need to be well trained on how to fix the issue, be understanding and be apologetic.
I will not be returning to this location for awhile and I will make sure that family/friends won’t be coming here either.
bypassed other locations thinking this store would be cleaner.. not a chance and I was saddened to see homeless in the lot next door. Only good thing here was the manager who took our order inside where I would not suggest eating… we should have ate in our car. We threw most of our food out.
