We had a large party of 40+ people, and the service was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very patient with our big group and all the kiddos. The food was excellent, and everything was handled smoothly. We really appreciated the great experience!

Wow. Love the place. Menu has variety of Pizzas, Salads, & Burgers.
While coming here a few times we ordered: Chicken Wild Rice soup, Calamari with the Tentacles, & Fish Cod Tacos with Waffle Fries, Blue Chips, Lettuce Boats, build your own Pizza, Fish n Chips, Gyro sandwich & Red Velvet Cake.
We even ate the Sunday Brunch which is awesome to have a buffet again. I love the Spread they have.
I like coming here, Service is great, Food is Great. Only downside is some dishes have too much food. But good place.

I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was so good I spoke Italian for 47 minutes after I ate it. The beer was so cold I had to borrow one of my wife’s mittens to hold it….and I hate mittens.

We had a party of 6 and food came out at all different times.
The fryers were barely warm.
The Ruben sandwich has almost no sign of sauerkraut and the corn beef was bitterly cold.
I did not eat it.
They were not even busy so we definitely will not be going back!

Wonderful experience! We had Leon as our server and he was kind, knowledgeable, and focused on creating the best dining experience for us. We had the Thai chicken lettuce wraps, hot beef sandwich, and the brisket sandwich, all were delicious. We really appreciated Leon and the kitchen allowing us to split one of the dishes between two plates for us to share. The portion sizes here are huge, and the sauce flight is 10/10. We will definitely be back!!

We liked to eat here when it first opened. When I last ate here, I asked for chicken on my salad. I paid the up charge of $6 and when the salad came out I got 6 pcs. of chicken. Things like fries, salad dressing and other side that use to come with the meal you pay for.

We came in before 6pm on Friday blizzard night with no reservations and it took us like FOREVER to be seated .
Finally, we have our table , hence again , the food arrived like FOREVER. I felt sleepy already waiting . They apologized tho .
Only verbal apologies .
Now, the billing , again , took us a WHILE WAITING for the waiter to get our payment . We just wanted to go home .

We ordered 1) Buffalo Mac and cheese
2) Tavern Ginger Tuna
3) Tavern BYO Burger
It was ok . The ginger tuna was served cold. Just the tuna a bit warm but the rice is COLD . I was hoping for a warm meal but I guess that’s how they prepare it cold and I didn’t enjoy it .

The place location is very convenient . Enough parking and the interior is cozy.

What an amazing local restaurant! I can’t understand why any reviews would be less than 5 stars.
From the drinks to the cheese curds appetizer-on to our main courses Chicken Marsala and Cajun Chicken Alfredo then on to our tasty dessert Bread Pudding! The cheese curds were so flaky and melt in your mouth-the two main course items we got were UNBELIEVABLE in house sauce and what had to be hand made alfredo noodle’s- then real caramel sauce with the bread pudding The staff was so nice and it was a busy Sunday Afternoon but the delivery was on point we didn’t find ourselves waiting long for anything. Our server Kenzie was great and the Manager Chris was so friendly checking on everything to make sure it was perfect.
The Tavern will be a regular stop and my new favorite Bismarck restaurant!!! Thank You guys!!!!

Had a good time at the Tavern while on a work trip. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The toasted and seasoned buttered bread was amazing, I could’ve eaten 10 plates of that. I went with the Wagyu Stroganoff, only because it was literally less expensive than the grilled chicken caesar I was going to get (which is kinda crazy). The wagyu was ok, the noodles and sauces were good. It’s not that they cooked anything incorrectly, I just don’t think wagyu is made to be cooked more than medium-rare at best. When you strip it and place in a stroganoff, you inevitably over cook it. I’m not saying steer clear, it’s still 4 stars, just not 5. I will choose a different dish next time I’m up there.

It was our first time here with the whole family. Didn’t know there was a breakfast buffet so we decided to try it out. The kids loved it. I was pretty impressed with the options and the quality of food. Our server was great and even better with our little ones. I wish I could remember her name but she gave our kids fidget spinners right when we sat down. Thank you for the kindness and great service.
