I’ve been to Nagoya multiple times over the last couple years and it has been the go to spot ever since. It’s pretty busy at peak hours and the AYCE is absolutely worth it. Dinner has more options than lunch, but lunch is still great for its price and options. If you are a casual sushi eater, then this a very good place to visit. The sushi is fresh, the rolls are consistent, and very attentive workers.

Great all you can eat lunch! It’s a good value compared to some others in the area, especially when you consider all that you get. You pay $18.99 (Mon. -Sat.), and the price includes a bottled/canned beverage (wide variety) and a dessert, with your choice of a tempura fried banana or a novelty ice cream from their self-serve freezer. We had a little bit of a wait, which was probably mostly because of the fact that they were one of the few places that wasn’t gouging folks and charging exorbitant prices because of the MLK Day holiday. The staff were friendly. Our server was a riot! Very enjoyable dining experience overall. Will definitely consider returning on our next visit to Grand Rapids.

Service, food, and atmosphere were great. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Extremely clean and fresh decor. Can’t go wrong with their all you can eat lunch for $18.99.

I had the Crazy California, Rainbow, and Godzilla rolls. Followed that up with their Golden Mango and Fire Ninja rolls.

100% recommend trying their Golden Mango roll.

I have reviewed over 100 sushi places. The fact that this holds as high of a rating as jaku or Tokyo blows my mind. I bought an 18 dollar roll that was supposed to have lobster salad on top and it was close to non existent it was so sparse. The octopus sushi was the worst I’ve we had. Inedible and I didnt finish it. This is really just a place for people who want a cheap sushi option all you can eat and you get what you pay for there. We didnt do that option ordered full priced special rolls. There sushi portions are also very small very thin cuts on average. Never going back.

An excellent New Year’s Day meal to kick off 2026. Delicious “All You Can Eat” options, expeditiously served, and dynamic staff. You won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite = mango salmon. Our youth SWOONED over the shrimp tempora and miso soup. Enjoy!

Went here for my pre birthday dinner and it was absolutely amazing!! Walked in and we were greeted with friendly smiles and quickly given a table. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. The food was so delicious even the salad with the ginger dressing!! The clear soup was very flavorful. I got the steak hibachi dinner and the steak was cooked to perfection!! Will definitely make this our hibachi and sushi spot!! Tried the cooked eel and avocado sushi. We were pleasantly surprised!! Creamy avocado, nice smokey eel, and perfectly cooked rice!!

BEST SUSHI AND SHASHIMI! THIS IS SO WORTH YOUR MONEY AS AN ASIAN PERSON! the staff was very kind and made the perfect recommendations to our personal palate. The raw fish was fresh and seasoned perfectly which it didn’t have any giant smell at all AND I DON’T EVEN LIKE RAW FISH LOL but I loved this place. You get drinks from the cooler and icecream at the end. They give you full rolls of sushi for the All-you-can-eat instead of some places where they give you small tiny half rolls. These rolls were perfectly balanced with filling and rice, toppings and sauce. Id definitely come here exclusively for any sushi craving I have. I didn’t take any pictures of the sushi because it’s gone that quick!

I live in Houston, TX and during my visit to Grand Rapids, I had the pleasure of dining at Nagoya, an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant that completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me like a VIP, and the experience only got better from there.

First and foremost, the sushi was simply outstanding. The freshness of the fish was unparalleled, with each bite melting in my mouth. From classic rolls to sashimi, everything was perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. The variety on the menu was impressive, and I appreciated how they kept the quality top-notch despite the all-you-can-eat concept.

What truly stood out to me was how they handled my sesame allergy. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my meal was safe and enjoyable. They carefully noted my allergy and prepared my food with the utmost care, giving me peace of mind. Their diligence made me feel valued and cared for, which is rare to find.

Service at Nagoya was another highlight. The staff was fast, efficient, and served everything with a warm smile. Plates were cleared promptly, drinks refilled without me having to ask, and the overall flow of service was seamless. Despite the restaurant being busy, the team made me feel like I was their top priority.

I can confidently say that I would return to this area just to dine at Nagoya again. It’s a rare gem that combines incredible food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the area—or even if you’re not—it’s absolutely worth the trip.

The service here is much better than the other branch downtown. However, I would suggest making the hand-rolled sushi in the buffet smaller or serving fewer than eight pieces per serving, so that customers can try a wider variety. The staff were very attentive and caring. Even though it’s far away, I would choose to dine here on my special occasions.
