Such a perfect Saturday morning at Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar ☕️ I sat outside with my dog, soaking up the crisp air and sunshine which was absolute bliss. Ordered a snickerdoodle latte (so cozy and perfectly sweet) and a homemade biscuit with jam that tasted straight from someone’s kitchen. Between the peaceful view, friendly vibe, and dog-friendly patio, it’s definitely one of my favorite little spots in Reston.

I always come by for coffee and forget how good the food is! Enjoy the most lovely lunch here with the family. We ordered online for convenience, but it was such a beautiful day. We ended up staying with our sandwiches in ordering drinks on a lovely patio. The chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches were perfect and we were able to customize. Will be back for happy hour sometime soon!

I stopped by before noon and ordered a coffee. The price was more than 30% higher than Starbucks, which I wouldn’t mind for a local business if the quality justified it. Unfortunately, the coffee was low quality and pretty lame — definitely not worth the price.
The inside is somewhat cozy, but not very interesting, and it felt a bit gloomy rather than friendly. Of course, this is just my opinion. I sat for a short while and then left.
Positive point: a clear sign of work hours for holiday time.

I’ve always loved Lake Anne Coffee House for the great coffee and delicious food, so it felt like the perfect place to host my mom’s surprise 65th birthday party.

Chef Meagan and Kalie helped me plan the food and drinks beautifully. Everything was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. They handled my loud family, including lots of little kids, with so much patience and kindness, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thank you so much to the Lake Anne team for making the celebration so special.

I used to love this place because of the location, atmosphere and supporting local. However, the past few visits when I’ve ordered an iced latte, I’ve received cold brew with syrup dumped in the bottom that I pay seven dollars for. I’m fine paying that price if I’m actually receiving espresso, but I watched the barista pour cold brew from a cooler into my cup instead of pulling shots from the espresso machine. Just wanting to get what I paid for and disappointed that has consistently not been the case.

Do NOT come here. Extremely rude staff. You’re not welcomed (especially women by cashier Koran). I visited here on Oct. 20th with my son for brunch options. I’m a lifelong Restonian and have visited Lake Anne’s Coffee House since its opening. I’ve never had the experience I did with cashier Koran (or similar name, tall middle eastern). He clearly was having a very bad day when we entered.

We weren’t greeted and he did not speak til we ordered. Koran was cold, short, and seemed agitated. When ordering my son’s sausage & biscuits, he expressed offense to the way I ordered his eggs. I did correct this then proceeded to order. But instead, Koran (being in a very bad mood) began to escalate and condescendingly question the way I ordered the eggs. I expressed that I didn’t understand why he was so argumentative and he raised his voice, said I didn’t greet him while my son went over the menu, and how uncourteous I was as a customer. (As if it wasn’t my intention to feed my kid and support their business like I have throughout the years.)

Koran then mocked and yelled at me to calm down, while I simply asked for the transaction to be voided and so we may leave. After all this, he continued to ask what the problem was (as if I wanted their business now). I would love the establishment to review their audio and camera footage, I sincerely felt belittled and disrespected as a woman and a customer. Koran felt comfortable to tower over 5”2 mother and attempt to gaslight, mock, and argue for absolutely no reason in front of my son. Regardless of how a customer orders, if they’re tired and improperly make a mistake: there’s no excuse to argue, belittle and take their anger out on them. The way this man began to escalate in mere seconds is concerning and I would make a strong bet that he does NOT respect women.

Product? 5/5 – delicious stuff
The Service? 5/5 – the barista was a lovely young man who was cordial, efficient, and swift.
I have never been here before, but despite this excellent experience I will never be coming back because of who I can only presume was the manager. Its been four days since I went but I kept thinking about it that I had to come write a review about it because something has to be done about this man – he was middle eastern and I think in charge, an owner or a manager, but he was absolutely beyond unprofessional. He was yelling at the poor young man in front of the entire restaurant, over and over again about a simple mistake. I have been a manager of a restaurant before just this past year and how this man behaved was incredibly unacceptable, in front of CUSTOMERS no less. It makes me wonder and fear how this man behaves when customers are not around. I fear for all of the workers who work with this man – I would genuinely be shocked if that nice young man still works at this establishment because of how he was treated. Every person deserves to be treated with dignityband respect, especially in service positions, and the manager / owner is supposed to be the person supporting these service workers. This man does not treat his workers with dignity and respect. If he continues to have a job at this establishment, then this restaurant deserves to be run into the ground because they clearly do not care about their workers if they allow this unprofessional abuse to continue.

I’ve been here for brunch, coffee, dinner, and for drinks over several years. It’s one of my favorite spots in the area, and there’s really nothing else like it in Reston. Chef Meagan’s food is incredible and I’ve yet to find something on the menu I didn’t like. Excellent wine selection, great service, and always a good vibe.

Such a cute coffee shop with a great atmosphere! Each time I’ve gotten the iced matcha with lavender, which is amazing. Their breakfast tacos are also really good, the only thing is the prices are a bit high. However, I feel like this is the same for a lot of places near here which seems to be out of their control.

Small but cozy cafe, wine bar and food on the 2nd floor with live jazz music, which is different from the 1st floor. It’s been a while since I found a place with live music. I was just going to have a cup of coffee, but I like jazz music, so I had another glass of wine! I’ll have to come for dinner next time.
