I stopped in a few times while visiting a family member at the hospital nearby. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the pizza is here and that I am disappointed that I never tried them sooner.

They have a good selection of house pies on display along with painins, calzones and rolls. The actual menu is extensive as well. Pricing is pretty standard these days as a regular slice is $3.00 and a “gourmet” slice is $5.00.

The place is small inside, but can seat a good amount of people. Plus, they have some outside dining available. I could be wrong, but I didn’t see any restroom for the customers.

Overall, this is a good spot to check out in Borough Park if visiting anyone at the nearby hospital or nursing home.

This place has everything that a local pizzeria should have, and they even sell ice cream! I bought a pepperoni slice and a grilled chicken Caesar salad for myself. The salad portion is huge and hearty. It came with bacon and two dressings on the side! It’s honestly enough for two meals.

Simple yet perfect! The cheese pizza was fresh, hot, and loaded with gooey, flavorful cheese on a crispy golden crust. Every bite was delicious and satisfying—sometimes classic really is best!

I’m not local to the area. I was there visiting family and my son said he wanted to try some New York pizza. So we found this place. They had good reviews. We got several different slices and they were amazing. Everything was so fresh. The service was so good and friendly. This was a great experience and we will be going back when I come back to visit.

It is the typical Brooklyn Pizzeria and authentic Italian- American. It is a couple of blocks from Maimonides hospital. There are outside tables in the warm weather. The inside has a coupe of full size booths, some tables in the middle and smaller booths against the wall. There is a refrigerator with the familiar soda, iced tea, and juices. I ordered a chicken parmigiana hero with lite sauce and a single slice to eat while I waited. The slice was good. Not great. It is a good example of NY pizza. The chicken parm hero was ok. The bread was the best part. Warm, soft and crunchy. The chicken and cheese were fresh. However the sauce had a the metal can taste which can happen. It is why I usually order lite tomato sauce.. they have many types of pizza slices and food options. All different types of pizza slices, beef patties, wraps. They also have garlic knots. The price was reasonable came to 17.50 for a slice, Snapple green tea and the hero. The biggest surprise was the religious material stuffed in the front of the bag with the food. This has never happened. Although understood their desire to pass on their beliefs, not needed. Food is just ok.

A reliable neighborhood pizzeria with noteworthy service and atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the dining space is well maintained, offering a welcoming spot for a casual meal. While the pizza doesn’t quite reach extraordinary heights, it has its merits – particularly the well-crafted dough, which provides a solid foundation. The Margherita slice could benefit from bolder seasoning to enhance its flavors. The restaurant’s convenient location makes it a practical choice for a quick bite, even if it may not warrant a special trip across town. $11 for two slices and a soda.

Solid 3.5/5 for consistently decent execution and friendly service.

La Strada was such a great experience! John the owner was very cheerful and welcoming. I had hard time picking what to eat because of the many great choices that all looked very tempting and delicious! I picked the penne ala vodka and lime chicken and let me say it was the best vodka sauce I EVER had! La Strada is must try!

I recently ordered a pepperoni pizza from La Strada, and let me tell you, it’s hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Brooklyn in ages! Sure, it’s not as fancy as some other spots like Juliana’s in Dumbo or those other pretentious pizza places across the city, but when it comes to the essentials – sauce, cheese, and crust – La Strada is the real deal. The taste is simply unbeatable
