My experience at Zaxby’s started off pretty unpleasant. I specifically asked for fresh food, but what I received was clearly not fresh, which was frustrating. When I addressed the issue, the staff was rude and dismissive, which only made the situation worse. However, the manager really turned the experience around—she was kind, professional, and took my concern seriously. She made sure my food was remade properly and exactly as requested, and I truly appreciated how she handled the situation. While the customer service from the staff needs improvement, the manager’s professionalism and willingness to fix the problem made a big difference.

Ordered inside the restaurant. My order came back the wrong size. The drink machine was out of certain flavors. Order was corrected before I left. Staff was polite and did make sure the order was correct after mentioning issues.

Update 4.15.24 – good service, however, chicken tenders are horrible now. Chicken is tough, pieces are small, over-breaded and over-cooked. Probably won’t return. (Always good, chicken strips/fingers are hot and fresh. They do a good job here, just wish they’d open the dining room. Edit: Google continues to show “dine in” but they don’t have the dining room open.)

I would never recommend this zaxby’s location to anyone. I got salmonella from the chicken here and have had the worst 3 days of my life. I have been throwing up constantly since my trip here. Please do not eat here!!! They do not temp their chicken!!!!

Cashier was nice, nevertheless, the grilled chicken sandwich was “disturbing”. I couldn’t tell if it was undercooked or just a terrible meat quality. I had to trash it. It felt like biting into rubbery fibers. Really weird impression…

The driver through was extremely slow. We ordered only ordered 2 kids meal and fried pickles and we waited for almost 20 minutes for our food. There was also people people behind us who had to wait for a while. Not great.

I ordered a Cobb Zalad and had to pull up to wait for it. I was the only car in the drive through so not sure what took this amount of time. Shortly after eating it I felt sick. I noticed the lettuce didn’t look fresh and it was all chopped up but I’ve never gotten a Cobb Zalad before so assumed it was suppose to look this way but after a few hours of feeling horrible I now realize the lettuce or eggs, something wasn’t fresh. I’ll continue going to the one near Truist at Glenda Trace because they never have problems with food not being fresh.

Super unhappy. I went through the drive thru on a rainy day for a quick snack and was the only car in the drive thru. I ordered the fried white cheddar bites. Well, as soon as I pulled up to the window the food was ready, which usually means that the cheddar bites have been sitting out. In this case they were burnt, the cheese inside was orange so I don’t know if that’s cuz they were overcooked or because it was a different product that they were serving. Not only that, but it tastes more and the cheese was funky to chew. I only ate two of them before I gave up. I understand that sometimes they can’t control with the inside of the food looks like and that regard, but these were visibly clearly burnt and we’re still served. And that’s not okay. It’s just both disappointing and annoying to pay for something and knock it what you paid for. Or get it at the quality which it should be served.

Veryyyyyy iffy. It depends on what time you order and who is working there if you order the zalads..
They will give you rotten and wilted, mushy black lettuce, and not enough shredded cheese.. this has happened to me exactly 7 times now- so I just HAVE to say something now.
Like come on now, this is food safety and customer service common practice at this point. It takes just a few seconds to toss out what you yourself would not put into your mouth.. so how about not giving it to customers?
This was my last time patronizing this location, smh

This is truly one of the best fast food experiences I have had in recent years. I placed a large family sized order via the app. Within 15 minutes, it was ready to be picked up. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the order was made to specifications. In addition the price was reasonable something a lot of fast food has lost sight of.
