Excellent burgers and patty melts. Very friendly bartender and cooks. A very welcoming place to grab a quick affordable bite to eat in a great atmosphere. Like any wisconsin bar everyone including patrons are friendly. Would highly recommend. And don’t forget to roll the dice for a mystery shot!

Sly’s midtown saloon is amazing! My friends and family and I love going together not only for the food but for the fun atmosphere. We’ve made so many great memories here. The bartenders are all so friendly and easy to talk to. The food is always served hot and fresh and is absolutely delicious every time!

if you want old school sheboygan at its best, to put it short you want slys midtown saloon. the epitome of class out the ass. if you survived the pandemic you deserve to drink here. service couldn’t be snappier, happier or (sexier?). karaoke fridays get the people going got the drinks flowing faster than a good old boy comin home after the dinner bell. double brat plate goes crazy but the whole menu should be on the michelin watchlist. if you’re looking for a place to unwind and get after it, slys might be place to vibe. 5/5 oil stars buddy broke the scale

I love Sly’s. Always a good vibe especially for big events. Fun events in summer (such as Traveling Tuesdays) and always enough staff that you don’t have to wait for service. They have great food, it’s the highlight of Sly’s for me. They use high quality ingredients, and local products. New owners are cool, and have only added to the experience through improved menu options, new drinks, and new events. Tara in the kitchen makes incredible food, especially the new specials they’ve been doing. Overall a great Sheboygan staple

This a must stop for the best brats. The brats are served with kraut and a pickle. The kraut was on the side but you may want to pile high, it is delicious. The brats are served on what the locals call a hard roll, a little crusty on the outside but soft in the inside. City Bakery makes their rolls.

I am from out of town and had never been there. The location and atmosphere is perfect! Tall ceilings, long bar and great T.V.’s for games. I ordered the Brat Plate and a Ribeye steak sandwich to go. Highly recommend them both, but the Ribeye sandwich was incredible. The great bartender suggested the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I look forward to try it next time! Perfect bar and grill stop!

We don’t get to Sheboygan often enough but, when we do, we always make sure to stop at Sly’s for a drink and food. We’ve never had a bad experience in any way, shape, or form the last 8yrs we’ve been patronizing this amazing gem. The previous owners grandson and fiance recently purchased and took over. I have no doubts that they will have s long, successful, well deserved life with this establishment. The fact that everyone one is as wholesome and welcoming as can be, mixed with the homemade, almost everything on the menu including sauces, is just a small reason to make sure you give this place a go atleast 5 times in your life! Order the chili on the side, it is better than salad. The chili was a very good choice for me and the spices made it just perfect. We ordered burgers here and they were beyond excellent, I added grilled onions, jalapenos, lettuce, and pickles, this combo made it a standout. We are staying nearby and will return for another meal or two during this trip. The barkeeper was Margo, and she was simply a delight to speak with, and I asked about the foods, and she steered us in the right direction.
Try the combination of fried foods, you cannot go wrong with the choices offered.
