My boyfriend and I love this place so much. Martha is usually our waitress and she’s amazing. She always remembers us and our orders. (even if it’s been a month or so) She is the sweetest person. The food is always amazing and the portions are also good!! This is our go to restaurant!

The food was very good! Service was extremely quick which is always a plus. The tamales were absolutely perfect! And the shrimp in the nachos were absolutely delicious. We didn’t have the best waitress but the food definitely overshadowed her service! We will definitely be returning!

Ordered tortilla soup.

NOTE: I have been eating a LaHa for years, and their tortilla soup always had chicken. I ordered two soups to go last night @ $7.00 each!

Not one piece of chicken!
It was all RICE and two small avocado slices!

Total RIP OFF!

It’s not bad, but nothing to brag about. The chips are super thin and oily. The salsa is watery, but tasted fine. The cheese dip is really good. I got the carne asada and it was okay. My son got the cheese quesadilla and he liked it. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive and I noticed neither were any others.

TL;DR: There are better Mexican restaurants around and the menu here is quite limiting. If you do eat here, I recommend avoiding the chicken and rice.

We stopped in after a soccer game nearby and picked this place largely due to positive reviews. It was an unfortunate choice.

Salsa was a little bland. Not quite tomato juice, but it looked like it and barely tasted of anything more interesting.

Service was barely passable and I think our server may have been having an off day or something serious in their personal life. She was curt with most of what she said. And failed to check in on us. There were other issues that pointed to something else dominating her thoughts but I can’t recommend this place based on service I did not receive.

My daughter ordered her usual (chicken quesadilla) but said the chicken was tough and did not taste good. She has a bit of a high bar for chicken but I didn’t like it either.

I had the Arroz Con Pollo (chicken with rice). When I ordered the waitress asked if I was sure. That should have been a warning sign that this wasn’t the best item on the menu. I made the mistake of thinking sauteed vegetables with cheese sauce meant peppers, tomatoes, onions, etc that are typical at Mexican restaurants. What came out of the kitchen looked like it belonged at Applebee’s or some other steakhouse. Unfortunately the taste was subpar for that standard. The chicken was tough. I looked around for a steak knife and realized I didn’t have one. I was unable to cut the chicken without moving most of the plate around. I decided to try the veggies and found them to be palatable but not great. The rice was bland and looked more like minute microwave rice than typical Mexican rice. After a second bite to make sure I hadn’t gotten a weird bland spot, I stopped eating.

My wife ordered a chicken and chorizo quesadilla. She said the chorizo was wonderful but she couldn’t taste much of the chicken. She enjoyed the quesadilla nonetheless.

Yeah almost a good place to eat. It could have been 4 stars if this seafood soup had more flavor and they would have brought out condiments like chopped cilantro and onions. Also the parking there is a nightmare. I would not visit again because the parking lot was so cramped I think one of the many clueless drivers around there will hit my car.

One of my favorite local family-owned Mexican restaurants. I’ve been coming to see Eduardo and his family for years. Great food, quick service, friendly faces. IMO, best chips/salsa/queso anywhere.
