The service here was very good. It was a little bit of a busy night because of a music bingo that was going on. There are new owners, and the quality has not changed.
It is to say it’s just as good as it ever was. I had a ruben and sweet potato fries. The fries were perfectly well done and nice and piping hot.When they came to the table. The sandwich was crispy on the outside and had a good amount of meat, sauce, and sauerkraut. Getting this right is not as easy as most people think it is. Some places just pile on the meat and think that more is better. In fact it is not. Or sometimes they don’t squeeze the sauerkraut out just the right way. Many places squeeze all the juice off of it, or leave it mostly juicy. Both of those ways, I believe, are also wrong. Because it leaves the sandwich either soaking wet or bone dry.
The owners are personable and communicative, the waitstaff is as well. I noticed that the wait staff supported each other with drinks coming out and food coming out.That didn’t have to wait for the original waiter or waitress. They seem more concerned about serving the customers than serving themselves to get the best tips.
The atmosphere is just like it always has been, the place was very clean and the atmosphere is very good as well.
This is a great place to go for music, fun, food, and good drinks.

Didn’t eat here this time. Just had drinks with friends. I have eaten here and the food is typically good. Service was spotty this time, one very friendly bartender, one very snotty one. First one grabbed our mixed drinks no problem, was friendly, polite. Second one said they were too busy so they were not doing mixed drinks. I explained we just got drinks. (Table of like 5 people). I was told “we’ll I guess she (the other bar tender), screwed up. You want beers or not. Half of us grabbed a beer, then left. The other half just left immediately.

This place is so cool! Great service and yummy food. We sat at the bar and I liked the history and homey vibes on that side. There was live music on the other side with seating at tables and booths.

I always liked stopping here when I ride my motorcycle through Muscatine. Tasty food, nice selection of craft beers, friendly staff, good prices. Perfect outdoor seating with a view of the river!

This is a fairly regular stop for us when we visit family and friends in Muscatine and it’s definitely worth trying. The food is always good, the pizza is very good and they have an excellent selection of beer. Even when they get slammed the service is still pretty good.
We were there recently when they had live music and the smaller venue for music made the experience great.
It’s not fancy but totally worth a try!

My wife and myself are visiting family here in Muscatine. The ladies working there are nice, the food is nice and hot and they are quick as well as attentive. Also, if you love corn nuggets then get them here. They are amazing!

It’s our once a year lunch stop. Great tenderloin sandwiches and beans on the menu yes please! They have good cold beer on tap , local beer and name brands. We sit at the copper bar but watch out you don’t want your beer to slide off. Only missed step here is the taps are in front of a window so you can’t read the taps because of the blinding back lightfrom the window. We always come back. The employees are very nice and the same local man comes in 4 years in a row and sits by us at the bar. Must be a local favorite.
