Take a step back in time in this not so well preserved time capsule; however, the well worn appearance doesn’t detract from the nostalgic charm. All of the original tile and well worn booths make for an interesting breakfast backdrop. We enjoyed our breakfast, but more significantly , we enjoyed imagining how grand this place once was. Still equipped with the original Packard Butler wallbox jukebox and its more rarely seen Gyrophonic speaker system; made us imagine how cool they once sounded. The service was great despite being fairly busy. Definitely check out The White Horse restaurant, you won’t regret it.

The service was good. It’s a CASH ONLY place. The prices for the food were fair, though it could be better. It’s very retro, but seating needs to be repaired.

We had 6 people ordering eggs, all different ways and they were all cooked perfectly. Everyone was a fan of the home fries also! The food was fresh, not made from frozen and the coffee was plentiful and good. Our service was great and my only suggestion would be longer hours open! Heads up, they only accept cash, no cards but it’s worth going. We will be back.

The White Horse is my favorite breakfast restaurant in Berwick. The Art Deco style is unique to local restaurants. Gerry is a ball of fire as a waitress. The food is tasty and very reasonably priced. If you want to talk local sports the clientele here is more than happy to accommodate.

Such a beautiful diner. My grandpa told me it was almost untouched since he would come here around the 50s. Amazing to sit in here & look around at what life used to be like for him. I hope it never changes! The cherry on top is the fairly priced meals & they’re so delicious! Amazing server. Hope to be coming here for years to come. Thank you guys.
