So hard to find good Mexican food since moving out of CA. Every suggestion I’ve gotten for in town NC or close has been…less than desirable. The food was fabulous and heavy. Best chilaquiles I’ve ever had-and I grew up on them. I’m always missing my home and culture, and this was perfect, delicious comfort.

If you’re ever in Mt. Summit Indiana and craving something flavorful and unexpected, Summit Café is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, super cozy with just the right balance of vibrant decor and welcoming warmth gave me a great first impression.
The menu is a delightful fusion of Mexican and Indian cuisine, and the kitchen does a wonderful job blending bold spices with comforting flavors. started with warm chips with salsa. For the main course, the Los taco platter with steak warm corn tortillas and a literal platter of food beans, Rice, and Mexican salad the BLT was made with some of the best tasting bacon you’ve ever had on a grilled piece of Texas toast
What truly stood out was the service friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to chat about menu items or recommend dishes based on your spice preferences. The pace was comfortable, not rushed, giving us time to savor each bite
All told, Summit Café offers a rare mix: bold flavors, unique fusion, cozy vibe, and genuinely warm hospitality. I left already thinking about my next visit. If you’re in town and in the mood for something a bit different but deeply comforting, this place is a must-try.

The food was AMAZING!!! We will be back more to enjoy this amazing tasty food! The cook was fantastic, the owner was wonderful and very kind! Brought us a dessert to try after our lunch and it was fantastic!!!! We enjoyed the entire meal and will be back again soon. Please make time to come see them and enjoy the food.

Oh my goodness!!! The food was amazing! Ordered Blackened grilled chicken sandwich and it was big! The fries were amazing! Summit Cafe was a breath of fresh air. Super friendly staff and hands down amazing food! Will be my new place!

My husband and I have eaten there several times. Every single time the food was nothing but amazing! Biscuits and gravy in the morning were awesome. The gravy was so creamy and the biscuits were really good too. Surprising because I’m pretty picky about my biscuits and gravy. The only suggestion I would have is to ask them what kind of sauce comes on top of your Mexican food. Sometimes it’s green sauce sometimes it’s red sauce or cheese sauce. My favorite is cheese sauce and they happily let me choose the sauce if I ask. Always great service. Thanks it’s nice to have 2 great places to eat in our neighborhood. Keep up the good work.

This place has tacos that are the bomb!!! The food selection is very varied, yummy and authentic. The service was great, quick and the waiters were very respectful. The atmosphere is nice and well fitted for their menu. Will come again!

Everything we have eaten here so far has been fabulous!!! The love that these chefs put into the dishes they serve is very apparent. Everyone seriously needs to run, not walk here! The chefs are AMAZING! And Mani is always attentive, serving with a smile, very aware of any need and already on it before we even ask. Superb!!

The Steak Ala Mexicana was perfectly seasoned and grilled to juicy perfection! And the small salad that comes with it had an excellent crema. Happy to see a local restaurant with so many options
