Good atmosphere. Food was large. Had enough for lunch and leftovers for supper. I had the nachos beef nachos, and I would have liked to have a little bit more of a grease, drained. off the hamburger. And next time, I will ask for extra cheese.
He had a chicken burrito, which looked excellent, but it was really big. We did not specify our sizes. We would have liked more of a lunch size. All in all, it was a very nice place. We will go back.

I came to St. Clair for work and I found this amazing restaurant on my way back to St. Louis. I have to say without exaggeration that they have the best tacos and Mexican food I’ve ever had in Missouri. NO ONE not even in St. Louis have this flavor. Authentic Mexican tacos! Their trips and lengua sent me back to Mexico in a second and the service is fast, kind and the place is clean. Make yourselves a favor and stop by for an incredible meal.

I got a taco salad.. it tasted ok, but as you can see from the photo – there was only one small slice of the end of a tomato, there was no salsa.. it was basically just shell, beef, sour cream, and lettuce.. and a slice of tomato the size of a quarter. The water tasted funny, and the building was not the most clean or sturdy looking. The staff was friendly enough but didn’t come by too often, even though the place was empty. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, but if you really want Mexican it was serviceable. Prices were good.

We LOVE this place and the sweet people that run it. They are always so kind and our toddler loves “the taco lady”! The food is always delicious and the margaritas are homemade we eat here at least once a week.

I had the arroz con polio along with shrimp arroz. It is so delicious! I recommend these 2 dishes or pappas locos. You won’t be disappointed, haven’t tasted anything as good as this place. Hidden gem for sure

Great find on our road trip through St. Clair. I saw the reviews for deliciously authentic Mexican food and they were right. Very friendly staff. And an amazing thing happened while we were there – a mother with her two kids paid for our dinner without us knowing?! We have no idea why – maybe this was a community of paying it foward?! So we paid for the next family’s dinner.

I ordered 3 Tacos for the Taco Tuesday special @ $1.75! Carnitas, chicken and beef- all really delicious in a freshly fried, super-crunchy shell… my new favorite local Taco shop! Highly recommend. Fast friendly service and lots of authentic menu options. (Did I mention the crunchy shells? They make them fresh every day.) Do yourself a favor… pull off I-44 and eat here the next time you’re near St. Clair, MO.

This is a new AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant that has opened up in the old TacOmg location at 570 E. Springfield (the little strip mall by the funeral home).
This is a family owned and operated hut of deliciousness.
Today was their very first day so if you stop in bring your good human patience as they work out all of kinks.
We had a great visit with the new owner and she is soo excited to be open.
Menu is a simple clean menu with fresh ingredients. We had both tacos and nachos but I only snapped pic of our nachos.
