I just discovered this hidden gem in the 206 Food Hall and I’m already planning my next trip back. My friend and I were both blown away.
I tried the PB&J Burger (the burger of the month) and it was a flavor explosion—I honestly wish I had room for a second one. My friend got the Triple Berry Burger and loved every bite.
The highlights:
The S’mores Cookie: Lexi warmed it up for us and it was gooey, chocolatey perfection. I’d come back just for this!
The Fries: Perfectly crispy, salted just right, and clearly fresh.
The Service: Lexi is so friendly. She cooks everything to order right after you pay, so the food is piping hot and high quality.
Plenty of seating inside and out. If you’re a burger lover, you need to try Big Zaddy’s!

Lexi takes your order and then heads straight to the grill. It’s not “fast food”—it’s great food made to order, and the wait is 100% worth it.
The Burgers: The Triple Berry and the PB&J burgers were unique and delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients.
The Sides: The fries were cooked to perfection—super crispy.
The Treat: Do not leave without the s’mores chocolate chip cookie. Having it warmed up makes it a total game-changer.

This place is inside the 206 Food Hall building on Oak St in Roanoke. Definitely worth checking out! Everything is made fresh when ordered (be prepared to wait 20-30 min), and is all so very delicious! We tried the Zaddy Smash and the Triple Berry burgers and both were incredible! We also had the fries, sweet potato fries, tots, and onion rings, and all were very tasty. Highly recommended this place!!

Cool little burger place inside a small food hall in downtown Roanoke. Lexi is the owner/chef, and each burger is cooked to order. Since she takes your order and cook it to perfection, It may take 20 minutes to get your food, but it’s well worth it. There are also Thai and Dominican options there as well.

1. It’s a really cool indoor/outdoor atmosphere with a bar nearby, but family friendly. Big groups can sit together!
2. Food is really good. Like fresh, home cooking good.

Had the delight of stopping by Big Zaddy Burger today with my wife and let me tell you..it did not disappoint! First off, meeting Lexi, one of the two sisters who own the establishment, was such a joy. She is extremely friendly and gave us some great recommendations as this was our first time here. We went with the Cowboy, Onion Rings, The Burger of the Month (Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Bacon), Fries, Zaddy Juice, and washed it all down with the most delicious Ube white chocolate chip cookie with coconut filling. Everything was out of this world and made in house, all the way down to the seasoning on the fries and dipping sauces. They are doing it right! Do yourself a favor and stop by. We will be back! Thank you Lexi!!

Omg absolutely incredible! I’m always a sucker for a good breakfast burger. This was the most incredible breakfast burger I’ve ever had! And the onion rings were so fresh and go amazing with the Zaddy sauce. I think I’m addicted to the cookies now too. Great place and incredibly kind staff. Can’t wait to move out this way to become a regular.
