Lovely experience overall. Food is a little under-seasoned but still tasty. Very fresh though. My chicken on the Shanghai salad was tough. Staff are all great and very welcoming! Good, relaxing instrumental musicand nice bistro feel/ casual.
On the desserts, I didn’t try them today and this is my first time in but they look great and are apparently baked in house!

We decided to give them a shot for lunch and it was pretty darn good. There is plenty of seating but parking can be tougher due to its location. The prices are on the higher end for a salad & sandwich spot, we spent just over $50 for 2, 1/2 pasta, 1/2 salad combos w/ canned sodas.

Dining in is good, lots of space, good service. I like their salad options, but the ingredient amounts depend a lot on who is serving it. Sometimes I get the amount of chicken it should be (balanced), sometimes more and lately it’s has been less. Sometimes the salad seems to hurts while other times it seems low. For the dressing, I think next time I’ll start by asking for it to be light (if tossed) instead of medium since everyone has a different thought on that – I like dressing on my salad, not salad on the dressing. The chicken sometimes tastes good and well seasoned, other times it tastes old or not fresh.
If you want something different than salads, their lasagna is delicious! And they have other pastas, too.

We love the variety of food so much at Lettuce that we had them cater our wedding. It was the best decision we could have made! Laura and Josh took great care of us.
We got 3 pastas, mixed vegetables, the Sonoma salad, Ceasar salad and bruschetta. Everyone loved and raved about the food! We highly recommend them! Thank you Laura and Josh! ♥️

This place has amazing food. I always get half pasta and half salad. The mushroom and tortellini in a cream sauce with peas and pancetta is so good. This time, I got a Napolina salad with mangoes, pears, mandarins and avocado. Wow!!! Delicious!
I couldn’t eat another bite until my bf brought this pumpkin cheesecake creation to the table. OMG. Resistance is futile.
Also this place has amazing ambiance. They have soft lighting and piano music. I find it so pretty and even a little romantic.

I come here often as my office is across the street at COMPASS. Here’s what I like about Lettuce and what brought me back often:
1) The staffs are extremely FRIENDLY. Although there’s always a line during lunch time, I never feel rushed, they took their time to make your salad/sandwich from scratch, with a smile.
2) Great salad and soup selection. I usually get their 1/2 & 1/2 combos, I love all of their salad, the soup tend to be a hit or miss though. Had the clam chowder today, it’s a bit too salty for my liking.
3) Quick & casual for take outs. Many who work nearby grab their lunch at Lettuce, it’s inexpensive and healthy! Btw, try their brownie, it’s warm and yummy!

Everyone always wishes for a restaurant to grab a quick salad and soup. Lettuce is just that place but they also offer a small selection of pastas and sandwiches so there really is something for everyone. Plus, the half n half combo might be the best deal in all of Walnut Creek. I love the Napa salad or the Big Cobb salad plus the Butternut Squash soup. Perfect for any day of the week and any season of the year. The owners are great and the service is superb.

For something fast, relatively tasty, good portion size, and medium price point, it hits all the points. It also is clean, and the workers were very friendly. It had vegetarian options although meat was available there. I would say for a quick lunch or brunch during the work week, or I stop before you head out to the airport, which I did with my mom, it’s a good location. She’ll be back, try it out see what you think.
