My family has only ever ordered food from Luigi’s via delivery services to our home, but all the food we’ve gotten from here has been delicious! It always arrives fresh, hot, and very well packed, and the pasta portion sizes appear comparable to what they look like others have received when dining in person. Their spaghetti and meatballs and the dough knots are our absolute favorite, honestly the best I can remember ever getting from a restaurant. Everything tastes like it’s actually homemade and is so good, highly recommend!!

We ordered Arizona Ranch, the Chicken Garlic pizzas on thin crust and they were amazing. The crust had a little bit of a crunch to it, the ranch/white sauce was very flavorful. We will DEFINITLY be ordering from here again. Very good, Thank you for the great lunch!

We brought a big group of 16 (10 adults 6 kids) here for the first time after talking to them the prior day about it. They didn’t take reservations but said they would be able to accommodate us. The place isn’t large (maybe seats a max of 50-60), but tables were combined and it worked out fine. Service was good, and everyone loved the pizza! Italian chop salad and lemon cake were also very good. Out favorite pizza by far was “the goods”.

Service was great! Seems to have improved a lot from a year ago. Helped immediately, had water and drinks in a few minutes, and pizza on the table shortly after. Hawaiian pie pairs great with a bells two hearted.

I was truly disappointed this time. Have been to Luigi’s multiple times and each time the food and service get worse. The service was excruciating challenging. We had to ask for everything. It was really odd that I had to go the counter at least 3 times to get salt, parm cheese, napkins, extra sauce for pizza rolls, and soda refills. How do you go to an Italian restaurant that serves pizza and pasta and they only have one small packet of Parmesan cheese left in the entire store??? Pizza was terrible this time. All 3 pizzas were undercooked and tasted real blah. Not sure if we will go back.

We ate here for dinner last night for my husbands birthday. It was our first time here. We ordered 3 pizzas and garlic cheese bread. All of which were fabulous! My favorite was ‘The Goods’ pizza. The white sauce was delicious! I ordered the sangria with dinner which was also great. I loved that it wasn’t too sweet. The service was also 5/5. We will definitely be back!

We were excited to try Luigi’s Pizza for the first time as we had heard good things about their pizzas, but were extremely disappointed! We took 2 pizzas and cheese sticks as a starter. Everything was extremely salty!! Also pizza crusts were too crispy/dark, so it wasn’t enjoyable to eat it. Pizzas looked too much overcooked and taste was lacking.

We will never come back and can’t recommend to anyone. You can find much better pizzas in Madison.

Edit July 2024.

This place has taken a turn for the worse whether it be dine in or to go. When my brother and I dine in, we have been ignored for the last few visits.

The servers are quite inattentive. I noticed that they are more concerned with playing on their phones. We had to get up and ask for everything. And even when we did that, the server would still make us wait for what we needed. He was on his phone in a booth chatting with another employee.

Or if it was busy, he intentionally walked the long way around to avoid our table. When my brother tried to get the server’s attention, the server would walk by super fast pretending he didn’t hear us. This happened several times on each visit. We have been here at least 4 times since mid-June.

What’s really upsetting is that after this last visit, my brother got severe food poisoning. I git a mild case myself. My brother was sick for a week and couldn’t eat. He lost 20 pounds from being ill.

We have tried to address this with management, but they only responded on Google maps to my brother saying to email them. When he emailed them, management never responded back.

I went in-person today hoping to speak with management regarding our experiences. I was informed I needed to buy something, so I did.

I placed a to go order and even tipped. The server sat in a booth facing away from the kitchen looking at her phone. I saw my pizza be made and placed on the pick-up window by the front desk. But the girl never noticed. She was giggling and on her phone. And messing around with another server.

I had to get up and ask for the pizza, which I never wanted to buy in the first place. I was given no management contact information, just a brochure.

My pizza is inedible. It isn’t fully cooked on the bottom and super greasy. Not to mention, it’s not even sliced.

What the heck happened to this place? It was amazing before covid. I came all the time.

Now they treat customers like dirt and don’t care if you get sick from their improperly cooked food.

I really want my money back. This is such a shame. Why did I receive undercooked pizza? I’ve been loyal for years. Customer since 2016.

I hate leaving bad reviews for local businesses, but this needs to be said. My brother could have died from his illness. He couldn’t eat for a week.

The pizza is pretty good. Sort of seemed more like a Jersey crust than a New York slice. Prices could be a little easier for what you’re getting, but that’s Madison’s lack of competition for you. I’d say this place is above the average of what the Food Fight group offers anyway, which is generally pretty average itself.

The service here- that we got particularly- was great. The guy who helped us was super friendly and willing to make suggestions. The young woman who took my reservation and was also cleaning tables was very welcoming and seems to be a fantastic employee. The 3 bros sitting behind the counter the whole time were basically useless.

Place seems to be busy enough, as the wait time took quite a while. I’d probably rather order take out ahead of arriving and eat outside next time.

Very good , thin crust along with consumer choice based dishes/pizzas. I really like the restaurant little bit of old school way and peaceful location. Waitress is young and cool attitude , woman with patience. I strongly suggest deep dish pizza with thick crest. If you are a salad person, try their THE ARTHUR salad. I loved this salad today with tomato soup. Their menu is kind of not too long but details of it are clear and concise. I am attaching them here. Have a look guys. I strongly recommend this place for a sit and peaceful lunch/dinner.
