I’m not sure why so many reviewers rated this food 5 stars and called the food “authentic”. The noodles are the wrong type for pho, the soup base is not rich and complex enough. This is quite far from real Vietnamese pho, it’s a bowl of noodle soup – yes, but I wouldn’t call it authentic pho. Sorry.

AnNam Lisboa was a great find during our time in Lisbon and really hit the spot. I ordered the beef pho with extra beef, and it was rich, comforting, and full of flavour, with a fragrant broth and generous portions that made it especially satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and it felt like real attention was paid to getting the details right. As Canadian visitors, we appreciated having a warm, hearty meal like this, and it’s an easy place to recommend if you’re craving a solid bowl of pho in Lisbon.

BÚN TRỘN that severely rocks! The food here is made fresh to order with love. Bursting with flavour. Quality cuts of beef, delicious crispy spring rolls, ding dong bits and bobs of delicious Vietnamese flavour. And such lovely people, doing lovely food.

The price is not cheap due to its location on a street behind one of the main streets lined with upscale restaurants, but the service was quite good and the soup was very tasty. I was wondering why I was not asked the question since other table guest had a choice of noodles. I wanted pho with flat noodles.

It seemed to be a popular restaurant with Portuguese white-collar workers and tourists.

We are from Chicago and really wanted some homemade cooking. Very impressive and inexpensive bowl of pho and food. The owner is very sweet and was originally from Vietnam. The “Hanoi” pho was fantastic and fragrant. I would very much recommend you try it. Won’t be disappointed. We had 4 plates of the eggrolls.

Update: In total, we went there 3 times while in Portugal for 5 days. It’s well worth it.

We arrived in Lisbon on a Wednesday night and as a Vietnamese, I craved for Vietnamese food. We got to the restaurant pretty late, luckily it was open. From the look, the restaurant seems small and cozy with all the tables close to each other. We were greeted by a warm smile and welcoming service. We didn’t have a wait to get a table and the food came very quick. The food is authentic Vietnamese food from Hanoi. We loved the food here so much, it reminds me of Hanoi.

Been coming here for almost 2 years, Katie and her team do an absolute stellar job at recreating the street food feel in Vietnam. Great fresh ingredients and home-feel type service! Highly recommend

Maybe it’s because I’ve been desperate for Vietnamese food in Portugal or maybe this place is just that good. I think it’s the latter because I still think about coming back here.

It’s a tiny little spot tucked away on a side street but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in awesome Vietnamese flavour!

Owned and operated by Vietnamese people, this is closest to authentic we’ve found so far. Very busy at lunch, and popular with single people just grabbing a filling lunch. The owner/server is welcoming, kind, and sweet. She is clearly working incredibly hard to make this place as good as it is.

Although the phō wasn’t ready yet (due to a situation beyond the control of the owners), everything we had was just as good as I’ve had in other, bigger cities. Such a relief to savour real Vietnamese flavour. This blows other Lisbon Vietnamese places away.

And they have Vietnamese iced coffee.

I will be here every time I’m in Lisboa, for sure. 🙂

Really cozy Vietnamese restaurant with absolutely delicious pho! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients tasted so fresh—it’s probably one of the best pho I’ve had, if not the best.

I’m giving four stars because they only accept Portuguese cards, so if you’re not local, make sure to have cash. Also, the fish tomato dish we ordered was underwhelming and lacked flavors I was expecting.

That said, the pho alone is worth the visit, and I’d absolutely come back for it any day!

Was so happy to have found this place in Lisbon. The restaurant is quite small but so much guests which is always a good sign! Do make a booking prior to coming to ensure that you will get a seat.
Went there for lunch and got the beef pho. And let me just say that it was divine. The broth was aromatic and has a strong meaty & savoury taste. The noodle is plenty as well as the beef slices. Also got their mango pudding which was smooth and refreshing and all balanced with the evaporated milk topping.
The owner is really really friendly and kind which is definitely a huge plus!!
