When I got my food, they partially followed the instructions for my wife’s Gluten Free food by putting it a separate bag, but put all the napkins s and sauces in my fully glutened bag. When I opened my very expensive sandwich container, the sandwich was the size of a McDonald’s Chicken sandwich and it wasn’t spicy at all. Oh, and then there is the staple Chick-fil-A sauce… for a place that is only a drive through, why are you giving me sauce that is meant to go on my sandwich in a dipping container? You can’t get it out… I had to use a fry to scoop it and spread it on my bun and I could only get about 2/3s of the container out.
Overall, disappointing, especially after the wait.
Where things start to fall apart is the drive-thru experience. There are usually two lanes set up, but it’s often unclear which lane to choose when pulling in (maybe if it’s your first time there?) I’ve seen drivers end up awkwardly between lanes, blocking traffic while they try to figure out what’s going on. Clearer signage at the entrance would go a long way toward preventing unnecessary congestion.
Lunch hours are understandably busy, but staffing doesn’t always seem to match the volume. Having only one order taker per lane – especially when one lane is clearly moving much slower – can be frustrating. Watching the opposite line move five or six cars ahead while yours barely creeps forward isn’t great, and a little extra support or management presence could likely help things move more evenly.
Order accuracy has also been inconsistent. Of my last five visits, my order was incorrect twice. Once I received sweet tea instead of unsweetened and didn’t realize it until I took a sip, already on the highway with no easy way to turn back. Another time, an item was missing entirely, and after spending so long in the drive-thru, I didn’t have the time to go inside to fix it. On my most recent visit, the food also wasn’t hot – more lukewarm, which was disappointing given the wait.
I’ll still come back, but only when I have extra time to spare. Until the drive-thru flow, staffing, and order accuracy improve, this location just isn’t dependable when you’re on a schedule.
