I recently visited Ghee in West Midtown, and there is no denying that it is one of the most aesthetically pleasing dining spots in the area. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-tier. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the entire evening feel seamless and high-end.
The food presentation is truly where Ghee shines. Every dish that came to the table looked like a work of art—vibrant colors, thoughtful garnishes, and beautiful plating that definitely makes it “Instagram-worthy.” You can tell there is a massive amount of care put into the sourcing and quality of the ingredients; the meats were tender, and the produce felt incredibly fresh.

However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 for two main reasons:

The Price Point: While the atmosphere and service are premium, the bill felt quite steep for what we actually received. It definitely leans into the “luxury” category, but the value-to-cost ratio felt a bit lopsided.

The Spice Level: For a restaurant celebrating Indian flavors, the food was bland at best. We were hoping for those bold, punchy spices that define the cuisine, but everything felt very “toned down” and safe. If you’re looking for a heat kick or deep, complex spice profiles, you might find this a bit underwhelming.
Overall, it’s a great spot if you want a beautiful atmosphere and stellar service, but I’d love to see them dial up the authentic heat to match those premium prices.

We chose this spot for a 12 member corporate dinner. The place is easy to find but parking is a challenge. Drinks on offer were good, appetizers and happy hours menu is good (we rescue early and could try the happy hour menu till 7 pm on weekdays). We ordered multiples of every item on the menu – street corn (good), short rib masala dosa (strange combination but good short rib), lamb hakka noodles (good), tandoori chicken (very good), raw papaya salad (average), pani puri (awful and flavorless), veg fritters (average). We then took a break and got entrees – dal makhani (good), mutton curry (very good), chicken tikka masala (average), paneer makhani (good), braised beef gravy (very good), assorted breads were dry and awful, ghost pepper cheese naan was spicy but tasty. Portions are not too generous and food took a long time to cold out – some of us had finished dinner when the beef entrees arrived. The heating did not work well and since most of the walls are glass, it was freezing inside as the outside was cold. Our server Anurag did a good job and was helpful all throughout. This is a fusion Indian food spot, worth a shot.

Quincy at Ghee Indian Kitchen delivered an absolutely outstanding table service experience! From the moment we were seated, Quincy was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Every recommendation was on point, and he took the time to explain menu items with enthusiasm and care, which made the experience feel personalized and elevated.

Our table was checked on consistently without ever feeling rushed, and every detail from timing of courses to refills and special requests was handled flawlessly. Quincy’s professionalism, warm personality, and attention to detail truly enhanced our entire dining experience.

If you’re dining at Ghee Midtown, ask for Quincy you won’t be disappointed!

This was an experience worth repeating…..the food tasted home-cooked. Curries did not swim in oil and cream, each one tasted different and very good, and worth trying again. One miss was the channa masala….for our preference, it was a bit too runny….we were chasing the ‘sauce’ to go with the chickpeas. We were mixed on cocktails as well and will try again to get a better idea.
As for food, that carried the meal for us. Snacks were excellent and entrees were up there as well. We will most certainly go back and would recommend to anyone that asks. Bread options were unique and not to be missed.

Ghee was incredible! We can’t wait to come back. We ordered the tasting menu and this was a great way to try several appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each dish that we tried was delicious, from the papaya salad, to the lamb neck to the date cake. The flavors were so unique, bold and bright! Absolutely amazing

We recently visited this Indian restaurant and had a mixed experience. Starting with the positives, the crispy broccoli was absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The veg kofta and dal makhni were flavorful and satisfying, showcasing authentic Indian spices and rich textures.
However, the naan was a letdown. It lacked the traditional fluffiness and char you’d expect from a good tandoori naan, instead, it resembled a Subway flatbread, which took away from the overall experience. This is definitely an area they could improve on.
Service was decent but could be more attentive and prompt. On the bright side, the ambience was pleasant and inviting, making for a comfortable dining atmosphere. Plus, the convenience of parking in the same building is a big plus.

Came here for a special event. I had heard a lot about it and I heard it was an upscale place to have a dinner.

Started with a lychee martini and a another cocktail for my wife the drinks tasted more of alcohol than they did of a mixed drink

The Samosa chaat was not bad, but it didn’t cost almost $16 which is a very overpriced evaluation for it even for an upscale restaurant

We also ordered the paneer jalfrezi and the chicken tikka the restaurant offered. Unfortunately neither hit the mark for us flavor-wise.

The restaurant was also described as “high dining” but did not have the expected decor or ambience I was hoping for. The lights were too bright, and the kitchen setup in the middle of the seating area gave me the vibes of a converted fast food restaurant that had not had enough reconstruction done.

The promotional videos I saw made the expectations for this place greater than it was in person.

Overall, I’ve had much better food and experiences for the price I paid in Atlanta.

Recently visited Ghee in West Midtown and found it to be a solid neighborhood spot for well-executed Indian cuisine. While I’ve seen some Michelin Guide buzz around the restaurant, I’d set expectations accordingly – this is a vibrant, approachable restaurant serving classic Indian dishes rather than a groundbreaking fine dining experience.

The food was nicely done with authentic, familiar flavors that hit the mark. Everything tasted fresh and properly spiced, exactly what you want when you’re craving Indian food. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed being able to watch the action in the open kitchen – it added an engaging element to the meal and the service was attentive throughout.

The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between polished and energetic. The decor is modern and well-appointed, making it feel like a step up from your typical neighborhood Indian restaurant, and it fits seamlessly into the West Midtown dining scene.

Ghee delivers solid, classic Indian cuisine, but it’s not reinventing the wheel. If you’re looking for innovative twists or avant-garde interpretations, this isn’t that kind of place. What it does offer is consistency and quality in a pleasant environment.

I really wanted to love this place. I know the restaurant business is not the easiest, and I truly feel for the owners, but I have to be honest about the experience relative to the price point.

I visited on a Monday for the tasting option, which is $50 (it’s $65 the rest of the week). For that price, I expected a high-end experience. While they claim to offer a “modern twist,” most of the dishes were actually just common Indian cuisine staples. That wouldn’t be a problem if the execution was perfect, but the taste was very under par for the cost.

The one area where they truly excelled was the sweet course—the desserts were amazing.

Aside from the dessert, it felt like a fine-dining “sit-down buffet.” The quality felt more in line with a $25 meal, not $50+.

The kitchen needs to pay closer attention to the pacing. The speed at which the food comes out for the tasting option was off, making the flow of the meal feel disjointed.

On a positive note, accessibility is great. There is ample parking, and they offer free validation for 3 hours in the garage, which takes the stress out of driving there.

Bottom Line: It has potential and great accessibility, but right now, the savory food doesn’t justify the price tag.

We went to the newly opened Ghee Indian Kitchen on Saturday with an appointment with lots of hope, but the food was disappointing. We took Pandan sour, and Mango Lassi as starter drink,Both of them were amazing. Next starter was Pani Puri and Farm Patra. Pani Puri was below average and farm patra was tasty.
Next main course we took Ghost Pepper Nan, Avacado Bhatura, and Ghee Nan with Dal Makhni and kofta curry.
Ghost pepper cheddar Nan and ghee nan was below average it was taste like Pita bread not a Nan.
Avacado Bhatura was average.
Next is Dal Makhni did not taste good and had watery texture.
In Vegetable kofta gravy was good but kofta is average.
In Dessert we took WarmSticky date cake. That was fantastic.
Overall atmosphere is fantastic ,table service was excellent ,but food didn’t meet my expectations.
