Drifters is another welcome addition to the Quincy Bar/Restaurant scene. It’s in a great location on Hancock street a quick walk from the Kilroy Place parking garage or there is street parking. It has a really cool vibe to it with a lot of great energy and music. One of the things I love about this place is the diversity of the clientele. I’ve met groups in their 20’s/30’s and 50’s. The age groups all mix well and contribute to a chill atmosphere. Makes for a great spot to take a date or significant other. For food I’ve had to-go pizza which is very good and on a recent visit had a couple of things from the late night bar menu. My friend ordered a Bacon and Pineapple pizza something I normally wouldn’t consider but it was a fabulous combination of ingredients- it’s a MUST TRY (see my pic). We also had the spicy ranch fries which were incredibly flavorful and just the right amount of salt! They also have a very focused wine list that has some very high quality pics – try the Charles and Charles “Bolt” Cabernet, it’s big bold and juicy. Or the San Polo Rubio – a soft and silky Sangiovese blend. The drink is very creative and they have a great tequila selection (my fav is Tres Agaves Blanco). The beer on draft is remarkably cold – one of my pet peeves is warm draft lines. Overall this is a fantastic pic for food and nightlife. High on the recommended list!!

Loved Drifters! It’s gorgeous inside and a perfect addition to Quincy Center! Found via an Off The Beaten Path Food Tour, we loved the breakfast tots and tempura beans as well as delicious drinks. Can’t wait to come back and try the pizza and smash burgers. Highly recommend!

Drifters in Quincy is a gem — a great bar and restaurant with a spectacular ambiance. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance between lively and relaxed, perfect for a casual night out or a proper dinner. The sausage and ricotta pizza with roasted red peppers and confit garlic was outstanding — crisp crust, creamy ricotta, and just the right kick of spice. The turkey pot pie croquettes were rich, savory, and packed with comforting flavor. Drinks were crafted with care and complemented the food perfectly. Drifters delivers on every front — quality, flavor, and experience.

Great spot. A bit hard to find a parking spot around. The cocktail menu is decent. I had Hands of the wheel and it was fantastic. Drifter burger is fantastic; moist, buns were soft and fresh, the spicy fries came out hot and crispy. We will be back!

I finally had the chance to try this new spot after it took over Idle Hour, and we were impressed! They’ve really brightened up the space, giving it a more welcoming and less moody atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel well taken care of.
We shared the crab rangoon dip and also tried the cheese pizza, wings, and burger—all of which were delicious. My partner had the burger and loved it; he said it was juicy with great flavor, and the aioli sauce was a nice touch. If you’re into smash burgers, this is a solid choice.
The crab rangoon dip was definitely the standout dish for us, and I’d highly recommend it. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. The only suggestion I have is to ease up on the salt in some dishes, but overall, it’s a cool place!

Great addition to Quincy Center! Loved the arincini (had a little kick which I loved), the smash burger was incredible (it was perfectly cooked – nice and juicy) and the fries were hot and delicious, my husband had the steak frites au poivre – steak also cooked perfect, I stole a slice of my daughter’s cheese pizza which we all loved – it’s thin pizza (if I had to compare I’d say closest to a mix between bar and flatbread pizza). For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich which was homemade chocolate chip cookies and strawberry ice cream. Unfortunately I only snagged a small bite of that but it was SO good! Love the vibes here- great music, artwork – they did a great job redoing the place. Great drink menu – loved the local beer list – my favorites Vitamin Sea and Untold on draft. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

The smash burger is PHENOMENAL! Loved the tempura zucchini fries and kale caesar as well. Need to try to pizza it looks amazing. Vibes were great, cocktails were on point. Will be back regularly!

Drifters is a solid spot! Food was great and the staff was super friendly. Roni pizza with hot honey and jalapeños is numero uno. Visited there having drinks solo, and also took fam for brunch and dinner. Great time, every time. Highly recommended!
