I found this place online, had no clue it existed and I’ve lived in Watsonville for the past 4 years and boy am I glad I decided to search online for restaurants near me. Now, from the outside it doesn’t look like much, being it’s shared space with the gas station, but the reviews online were good so decided, why not? I am so glad I did. Like the old saying, never judge a book by the cover. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders meal with the seasoned fries and let me tell you, these weren’t you average size tenders, they were huge… I’m talking like 4 whole boneless chicken breasts size. And not only that, but they were seasoned perfectly and the chicken was extremely moist. The seasoned fries were seasoned to perfection. Glad to say you’ve gained a customer and I will easily be back at some point to try your other goodies.

I wasn’t super thrilled with my Fire Chicks experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which unfortunately was way too salty, drenched in sauce, and the cheese seemed to be thrown on after everything else was cooked, as it was a solid block. The mac and cheese was one large clump of pasta, as well. I think the foundation for this place could be great, but definitely needs some work in execution.
