Social Profile:

A bank in 1910 that went bust in 1933 (The Great Depression), it has been a tavern ever since. Please stop by, have a beer and a bite, and see some history. We have a barback from 1883 and a curio from the 1904 World’s Fair Louisiana Exposition. If you need a space for a private event, let us know! The Bank Tavern is a great spot for one of a kind photos!

They’re SMOKIN FOOD!!! I love the Tavern, usually go to shoot some pool and have a few drinks, until last night. I tried some smoked chicken. It was good enough I ordered seconds!! Frankly its better than any BBQ joint in the surrounding area. Keep Smokin boys, See you soon!

I make sure to hit this place every time I’m in town a few times a year. Its a low-key laid back bar and has that great small town atmosphere. The bartenders are great and always open to conversation. They’ve also made some tasty drinks with minimal guidance and a “surprise” request from the Mrs. The outdoor seating area is relaxing and they often have bands playing. The food is bar food, so I wouldn’t come expecting anything great on that front. You also go to the bar to get your food/drinks. But come for the atmosphere and country vibe.

Fabulous place. This historic little building contains great local tap selection, local history, and customer service second to nine. You can tell that the owners are invested in the community and that is reflected in their customer base. Live music, food, and special events make this place special.

Had THE BEST time here – everyone is so nice and attentive. I loved the bartenders stories and making new friends throughout the evening. The history of the tavern is exceptional and the camaraderie of its patrons made for a night I’ll always remember! Best keep secret in SW Missouri!

Great small town tavern! Clean, friendly, fun and stocked with more than a dozen craft beers along with full bar. Staff is very professional. Building is full of history (originally opened in 1933). A must visit for anyone looking for a cold one within 30 miles 🙂
