Wow is the only word for this place! One of the few great local delis left. Very quaint vintage building. They have a good variety of sandwiches and wraps. Meats are freshly sliced on site.
I enjoyed a Cuban sandwich and the wife feasted on the Rachael wrap. I took a chance on the potato salad and I was fast from disappointed. Probably the tastiest potato salad I have ever experienced. The finale came in an oversized brownie.
Service was extraordinary. Very attentive and friendly.
Must repeat on our Murphy NC restaurant list.

What’s one’s the best place to get sandwiches in town but not anymore. I’m being generous with my review of the food for the food I’ve had before but since I didn’t get my food so I could have tasted like trash for all I know. If they have more than two orders they fall apart like. When it takes 45 minutes to get your drinks in 50 minutes to pour a cup of soup. When I was there 50% of their customers left without their food. If they have more than three customers ahead of you just walk out it’s not worth the wait

This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are in the Murphy area. The service is always top-notch, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is phenomenal! Every item I have tried on the menu has been delicious! You can’t go wrong with this place! Go try it and you will not be disappointed!

Sadly, we didn’t receive our food. It was not busy when we arrived. Maybe 3 tables had folks. We ordered our food to go before the table of 4 arrived. After placing our order, we sat down to wait for our carry out order. I watched the table of 4 order their food after us. Also watched them receive their food before us. We waited almost 45 minutes. They then started to get busy, to the point that we gave up our table we were waiting at so a couple that came in could stay as I heard them say they’re full let’s go somewhere else.
We think that maybe they forgot our order or the receipt was lost. It was not worth inquiring about as we had other plans to get to.
For sandwiches that she told me could NOT have any substitutes (instead of ham, replace with turkey) cause they already have them pre-made, we sure waited a long time. Pre-made should mean quick and easy, not 45 minutes pass by.

Love supporting local restaurants. Friendly super service. Smiles and friendly. Carolina dog was good, all beef hotdog . Son loved the Cuban. The key lime pie was outta this world. Prices were kinda expensive but it was kinda cool inside. Fresh food. Homemade.

We visited Murphy a couple of weeks ago and I am still thinking about the italian wrap I had here! Our server, Mary Jo, was the sweetest and reminded me of my hometown! I am so happy I got to eat here and would definitely eat again!

Flight of soup was comforting and delicious! My favorite soup was the chicken and dumplings, I will definitely be going back. The servers were very kind! Huge menu, can’t wait to go back and give some other items a try!

I ordered the deluxe sample platter of chicken salad tuna salad and pimento cheese.
The plate was fixed so beautiful, with plenty of food.
But then the major thing happen. My number one hate food is salmon.
My plate came with salmon not tuna fish.
Not sure if they know the difference between the two things.
My eating partner a tuna fish sandwich.

Their credit card machine went down while we were eating. Luckily we had cash but the couple next to us didn’t. The Deli had the husband go blocks down to find a bank to get cash while the wife waited. It was embarrassing for them, the Deli should have comped their food. It was not their fault. Other than that, I enjoyed the Italian sandwich and cookie. Sides could use some work.
