Great drive in experience as I have always been going here for 30 years. It’s always a great experience and good customer service. The food is great! It’s a hidden gem for those not from the area i highly suggest you visit. Had the chicken wings, fries, tater tots, fried mushrooms, deep fried ham and cheese, chicken nuggets, and of course the famous shakes and many flavors! Lots of great food! Thanks to Carol, Leah, and the Yeck family for keeping it going all these years! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Yeck’s Family Drive in is a must if you are going to Mackinaw City or Cheboygan!! It’s always very nice to get that “old time” family drive in service! I did feel bad for the girl taking orders as it was raining, but her spirits were still very bright! After a tough decision I finally landed on the pork burger (pictured) which was very good! The pork chop was cooked very well. Also ordered a side of crispy tots and fries and they did not disappoint. I did not order a malt but by sister did and she was very pleased with it! This was a very nice addition to our family camping trip we took in Mackinaw City!

2022: Tried out the Salami burger, which is a 5″ round of griddle cooked salami sitting on top of a hamburger that is made to order. I opted for it with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mustard, very tasty! Car hop service was very friendly and quick and the prices are reasonable too. Glad I gave it a try.
2023 update: Was passing through town and remembered how much I enjoyed this little car hop service restaurant and decided to give it another go, ordered the Olive Burger and another salami burger, both were very good. The olive burger had massive chunks of olives with a mayo mixture, both burgers were delicious and unique. Definitely a worthy stop if you find yourself in this wonderful little town.

A chef salad is, some shredded lettuce a few ham chunks, shredded cheese with a few tomato’s not even sliced, their ham and cheese is two single pieces of ham with Swiss cheese heated in a microwave on a hamburger bun,
I got these two items and deep fried mushrooms and paid 30 dollars!
Absolutely not worth the money for their quality of food.

What an awesome place! We stop here whenever we drive by! The food was great, the staff was amazing! Try the Olive Burger, it’s a Michigan Tradition! We haven’t had anything here we didn’t like! If you are looking for True American Cuisine, this is totally the palce!

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! The prices are perfect and the experience is great! Our server was legit amazing, I didn’t catch her name but she was wearing orange shorts with a white tshirt and she’s great! Amazing manners and everything. I took my sister to Mackinaw City in my 1968 Corvette convertible. On the way home we stopped and had dinner. Friendly staff and very tasty food. I had a blackberry malt and my sister the olive burger. Old fashioned drive in where the “car hop” serves you in your car. Will stop in again when I am in town.

Neat little drive in where you eat in your car and have a tray hooked into your window. This place is cash only, so make sure to stop and get some before you come. They have a decent sized menu with classic cheeseburgers and hotdogs. Would recommend getting a shake for dessert.

Waitress got no tip because she went and sat down and got on her phone instead of waiting on us. Also 8 mushrooms for almost 4 dollars. Wil not be back McDonald’s would have been better and your not expected to tip at McDonald’s
