Server Maddy made sure I enjoyed excellent service and course pacing. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I started with a cocktail…the incredible black orchid. The soft shell crab appetizer was freshly made and the batter was crisp. The dragon roll had delicious bbq eel/roe toping with more soft shell crab inside. I like the crab, what can I say? I ordered some killer sashimi after that. Otoro (most expensive tuna $25 for two pieces), king salmon and buri toro (amberjack belly). The fish was super fresh and fatty-scrumptious. The fresh wasabi (I had 2 orders) will set to your nose ablaze and along with the pickled ginger and soy sauce enhanced both of my entree’s. No room for dessert but the matcha ice cream tried during a previously visit is .

Surprisingly good sushi and quantity for reasonable prices. For the basics, they mix real crab meat in with the manufactured stuff-you can get 100% real snow crab for an upcharge.
I’m traveling from the Twin Cities and would hit this place often if it were there.
P.S. They have a great lunch special, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

My partner and I have been loyal customers at Wasabi for some years now since before they moved locations. While we preferred the old location in terms of ambiance, food and service never disappoints. The servers always are friendly and accommodating. We always get the Korean beef tacos, the flaming roll, gyoza, and fried rice are always hits. Some of the better Asian cuisine in the city including Milwaukee as someone who’s traveled through Asia and is Asian myself! We love this place and highly recommend it!

Excellent place! Great variety on the menu. We asked our server for some recommendations and they were amazing–exactly what we were looking for. We did the crispy rice and tuna appetizer, bottle of Yuzu Hana Awaka, and two rolls: the Las Vegas and the OMG (which is served flaming!) Everything was delicious and I’d definitely come again.

Great location for sushi! Our server was very friendly and the food tasted fresh. Highly recommend the lobster cigars! The ambience is okay and seems a little more casual than you’d expect for the price of their food and they have storage items in the bar area so it looks a little messy which can sometimes reflect on how the kitchen might look. Other than that, we had a great experience!

Love their california rolls, They make it the traditional way like I like it with pickle radish instead of avocado. Oh how I have missed this so much. It tastes so good especially when you grew up on it being made this way instead of the avocado way. Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend giving them a try if your ever in Brookfield WI.

Wow I really liked this place would recommend.
I’ll start off with the food. I really enjoyed the appetizers that were given for the kitchen entrees. The miso soup was delicious and warm. The salad was also a favorite. The presentation was super nice and the mayo or dressing tasted really good. I also like the toppings on the salad as they added a nice crunch.
For the meals salmon terriyaki was definitely worth it omg it came in a bento box like thing the presentation was good. All the flavors were super yummy.
Next the kalbi this was really good beef Korean short ribs and it’s delicous. I enjoyed the cuts of meat I think a little bit more salt and it would be perfect. The sauce was super nice as it had a thick soy sauchish sweet flavor.
Next for the sushi the eel sushi was the favorite as it was fried around and had the best flavor. There was also a crab one but I think the eel one was better. The California roll was decent. There is a small amount of alcohol within the sushi if you weren’t aware but overall decent sushi.
Seating was nice in this mall location and our server was super kind.

Wasabi has been one of our top 2 sushi restaurants in the Milwaukee area for a long time, even before they moved locations to Brookfield Square. The sushi is always fresh and on point, and we are never disappointed. Even if you have someone in your party who does not like sushi, there is something for everyone. The drink menu is also key, and has a great variety especially for a sushi restaurant!

Came here for sushi and sashimi with our friends for the first time. We had the Fire Cracker and Flaming Dragon off the Flaming Roll list which was a cool experience. They have numerous other non sushi food items on the list that I will surely come back to try! Overall the service was good and food was delicious.
