The best. atmosphere, lighting and jazz are super great. Coffee is wonderful and the Hosting by Miles and Edgar top notch. Can’t be a better place in Santa Cruz. Outdoor patio is a secret cozy Gem.

Lucrative drinks offered like tisanes, teas, and damn good coffee. I had a cacao hot chocolate with heavy dose of whipped cream. Yesterday I had a bowl of soul, and the honey latte ❤️‍ chefs kiss*. The staff and atmosphere will keep me coming back for as long as she exists.

This place was a whole vibe. We went early in the morning on a Saturday and they had jazz music playing and the team members were all so kind and helpful. It had a very rustic, industrial yet European vibe that reminded my parents of home. The food quality was top notch and fresh! The Whiskey Latte was amazing as well.

Food + drink was incredible, just felt so bad because each time I went in there was only one employee managing the register and making every drink and sandwich. Because of that, everything took 30 minutes to come out— the guy had admitted that he had forgotten our drink and served 5 other people’s food before us, which I don’t blame him since he has to find his own flow between making everything and managing the line out the door. Would’ve minded it less if I was actually staying in the cafe instead of waiting for a togo order, but nevertheless the ambiance is beautiful.

Coffee and food are stale and not good. My main concern was the horrible treatment of the owner towards the customers and staff. The staff are young and seem to be continually mistreated by the owner. Additionally, the owner is aggressive and randomly bullies customers. Especially women and people of color. I would not go again, and would rather take my business across the street to the other coffee shop.

Beautiful location. Very friendly service. The mocha we got was okay, but the flavor was not as chocolatey as expected. The regular coffee was not very hot. Maybe because it was close to closing time. It turned cold after we added milk. Good selection of milks to add. Will probably not return.

My husband and I are in town visiting my son for UCSC Family Weekend. Decided to check out this spot for a quick pick up. There were about five customers in line total, one in front of me and my son, and a couple behind us. The young lady who took our order was great! She took our order- one large drink and two medium drinks. A man who appeared to be the manager or owner who was working on the drinks seemed tense even though the line was not long at all. He quickly rushed my and son to the side by saying “have you paid? Ok your drinks will be out soon” Not the friendliest. He first called out our two medium drinks. My son and I grabbed those and sat to the side. He then called out our third drink that was ordered (and paid for) as a large, but was a smaller size. I asked him if that size was a large as our third drink was a supposed to be. He quickly responded “did you guys order 3 drinks?” Then he proceeded to say he was just going to refund me the .50 for the mistake because that would be faster for me. It’s not the .50 that irked me, it was the fact that he questioned whether or not I ordered 3 drinks then disregarded us by saying he was going to refund me the .50. Rude and very off putting. He acted as though the line was long (2 people behind me) and that I was giving him a hard time. I told him to keep the .50

Visited this horrible place on 10/19 around 9 am and was very disappointed with the customer service, the cashier/barista girl was incredibly rude for no reason. The coffee was disgusting just like that girls attitude. I asked for her to remake a drink and she told me ” I told you it was spicy” she probably did it on purpose since as soon as we walked in she was being rude. We sat outside and after about 15 min she comes out and says ” I’ve been calling you for your order multiple times ” with a rude tone. Who says that to a paying customer?! The only positive thing was the nice man who was working at the same time. This girls has multiple reviews about how terrible she is. When are you going to make a change? She shouldn’t be working in customer service if she’s going to make everyone’s experience terrible.
