Legit some of the nicest and most hard working people here. I got their roast beef sando on focaccia ($15.99), potato salad, and pasta salad ($4.99). They locally source everything and get things fresh. The sides both had a bunch of flavor and were really yummy. Sandwich was also not bad.

Let me start off simple. My life revolves a lot on sandwiches and the content on instagram of those juicy delicious sandwiches being made and cut in half.. this was beyond all of that. The food was absolutely delicious and special with its unique taste and arrangement.
The feta sandwich was one of the best veggie sandwiches I’ve ever had. So special and unique.
The tuna and the specialty sandwich that was off menu ( you’ll have to go in to find about that one folks! ) were absolutely amazing with the right balanced ingredients that are prepped daily and fresh cut to perfection. The sides are a must have from the Italian pasta and the potato salad.
The people were an absolute delight to spend time with. I recommend this deli to every single person that loves sandwiches and artisan deli meals.
Absolutely fantastic 100% do yourself a favor and try this place. It’s 100% worth it.
The drinks for sodas are 100% Mexican import and the coffee and teas are an absolute must have!!!!

Sandwich was fine, good even, but on the small side for me and coming in at over $20, I can’t say this was a good value. Beef was quality Boars head and fresh bread toasted perfectly. It came with the little bag of chips (or pasta salad). I added a bottle of coke as they have no fountain.
They needed 15 minutes to make the sandwich and at the time I was the only one there. A family entered and then 3 more, and they were standing and waiting the whole time I ate. Still no food when I left.
There are 2 tables, one of which was dirty and 4 bar seats. Nice place, better for takeout. Friendly staff. Guys checking to make sure everything was good for me.

A amazing Deli! The sandwiches are insanely well made. This Deli uses higher quality ingredients! Well worth the price and some. The owner is a very passionate individual who loves his family and community. They also have a very unique piece of artwork everyone should see. Today I had the turkey club sandwich on Bolillo poor sandwich didn’t make the drive home haha. A hidden gem for now.

El Monte has now set the bar on how deli sandwich’s should be made, with BOARS head meat and caramelized onions walked in today wanting a good deli sandwich, what I got was a homemade sandwich experience, with rosemary focaccia bread, roast beef, swiss and those amazing caramelized onions that pull you in when you walk in the door. Our sandwich was paired with The 1955 salsa & it elevated the experience, the flavors were not overbearing & it hit just right as if you were making it from scratch at home. On my way out I seen they have a tasty breakfast menu so I will be back. Follow the local loop for all things El Monte Support our local shops

I was put onto this spot by one of my friends who live in El Monte since I’m all the way in SF, and to say the sandwiches this place had was life changing is an understatement. The garden feta is genuinely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life and I’ll forever come back just for it. Had me feeling like I was in a symphony and every bite was a different note that was straight serotonin inducing. Not to mention the service is impeccable, some of the chillest and nicest people to work there, making sure we were comfortable while waiting on our food. Love this place.

I just inhaled the sandwich meal I bought 15 minutes ago ….!!! Literally, inhaled. They clearly put love into their sandwiches!!! And the potato salad and macaroni salad are delicious! This is the best sandwich spot in the area! Quality food, staff is warm and friendly it feels like visiting family! I highly recommend! This is the type of business you feel good about spending money to eat here or grab takeout! See for yourself! I’d post photos but I couldn’t stop eating so…. Yeah just go get you some!

This place. is. awesome. Second time here. Staff really takes care of you and they make you feel comfortable. I read another review that it takes a while for the food to come out. While it takes a little longer than some other sandwich places, it’s not bad at all and it’s totally worth it because they really be putting love into these sandwiches. 10/10 recommend. Best sandwiches in the SGV hands down.

A little piece of Pasadena in our very own El Monte. Very unique. A small but adequate menu. A variety of sandwiches and sides to choose from. Boars head meats and a personal touch on the condiments. The pistachio cake is as smooth as silk. This place is VERY unique and a pleasant surprise.
