The Alley was the perfect place to ring in the New Year. Cozy, moody, beautifully decorated, and full of good energy. The drinks were amazing, the vibe was festive but still intimate, and the complimentary New Year’s champagne toast was such a thoughtful touch. The staff made the whole night feel special — can’t wait to come back. ✨

I loved having this place basically to myself on a weeknight! The Moscow mule was perfect, and the bartender was able to make modifications for the alcohol content. Good music and a romantic vibe. What a lovely place, can’t wait to come back

I was there Tuesday night and Dream completely stood out. She’s gorgeous, sweet, and seriously talented behind the bar. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and fit the speakeasy vibe so well. Sitting at her bar felt effortless and fun, the kind of experience that makes you want to stay for just one more drink.

Nice spot with a welcoming atmosphere! The staff were super friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
I liked the quiet and comfortable vibe – perfect for a good conversation. This was my first visit, and it definitely left a good impression.

My friend and I were completely ignored last night. We tried to flag down the server for at least 20 minutes. We tried every time she walked past us and she ignored us.
At some point, we were the only table that had not been helped in the entire place and we wondered if we were being refused service. She was still checking in on every other table that already had food/drinks, but actively ignoring us. The table next to us noticed and commented that they received good service the whole time that we were ignored. They noted that the experience was uncomfortable for them too as they were being helped consistently while we sat there with an empty table, trying to be noticed.
We were finally able to talk to the server by basically having to yell for her attention, and she claimed that she hadn’t even noticed us sitting there for 20 minutes. But we checked in with her when we first arrived and she told us that we could just seat ourselves, so she did know that we were there.
We were the only Black table there. This was the evening of January 30th and the server was a white woman with blonde/white/light hair.

Came in on a Saturday night. It was not very busy. As we walked in the bartender looked annoyed that we were there. We sat down at a table and ordered a Negroni (no vermouth), a boulevardier(no vermouth or Campari) , a Sazarac (no absinthe and a lot of sugar) and a French 75.(I can’t even tell you how bad it was). We felt unwelcome and we were served poorly made classic cocktails. It’s a bummer because this place is so cute and has so much potential, but this is the third time coming to this place and everytime the drinks have been terrible.

This place is so cool. I love the Jazz nights and Stephen makes the best cocktails and mocktails I’ve ever tried. The mocktails are more than just juice and sugar which is often what a lot of places default to. It’s become a regular spot for me.

I loved the vibe immediately once I figured out how to open the door! Since we couldn’t find any staff, my friend and I grabbed a seat and chose our drinks and some snacks (nuts and olives) from the QR code menu.
When we went to the bar, I ordered a cocktail from the menu and a Bodhi (which any Seattle local knows well). The bartender immediately gave me attitude. He claimed he didn’t know the cocktail because ‘the owner doesn’t tell us these things.’ When I pivoted and asked for an Old Fashioned, I was met with the same confusion and had to repeat myself.
As someone who has worked in the industry, I understand having a bad day, but he made sure we felt every bit of his frustration. Instead of politely explaining he hadn’t learned the new drinks yet, he just complained about management.
When I ordered snacks, he initially brushed me off, claiming he didn’t even know if the kitchen was open. He did eventually circle back and offer to check on the food availability, but by that point, I felt like such an inconvenience that I just said, ‘No, it’s okay.’
I’m willing to give this place a second shot because of the atmosphere, but if that bartender is working again with the same attitude, I’m turning around and walking out.

We had a great time celebrating a 21st birthday with 10 in our party. The staff made arrangements for us to be together and they were very informative on the many cocktails they offer.

The espresso martini was incredibly too sweet and made with instant coffee. The French 75 had no fizz probably no champagne/sparkling wine in it.
