We went as a family and had such a lovely experience. I ordered the loaded seafood burrito and it was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and genuinely kind, and the restaurant was full of people, laughter, and energy. It felt lively, welcoming, and very much like a place the community loves. We left happy with our choice of food. We look forward to enjoying another food options on the menu.

What’s a good place to get a nice meal. Passing through the area after a little sightseeing. I was debating if I should go back to Woodstock to have early dinner as I was there yesterday. But decided to stay around here. After seeing “Main Street” reviews, so I just give them a try. They didn’t disappoint! The waitress and helpers are very friendly. Got some recommendations for drink and entree from the sweet waitress. Everything was very good. Price is also very fair. Wish I live closer. Thank you for a good meal.

We had a great experience at Main Street Restaurant in Saugerties. We ordered the Tacos al Carbon, a steak burrito, and the chicken avocado sandwich, all freshly made and full of flavor. Two main issues with this restaurant:
1) Chips and salsa are NOT complimentary
2) Vegetarian food is NOT vegetarian
My vegetarian burrito and my wife’s rice was made with chicken stock even though we informed the waitress before ordering that we are vegetarian.
Apart from these issues, the service was good and the food was good. Everything else was exactly what you would expect from a standard Mexican-American restaurant.

This is hands down my favorite mexican restaurant in the Hudson valley and one of my favorite restaurants period. Food is EXCELLENT, consistent, and comes out quick. Service is amazing and the woman who either owns or manages is equally as amazing. She’s so energetic and genuine, just an awesome person! You can tell it’s a well run establishment. This place is awesome, and you’ll likely be satisfied with anything you order but I personally love the birria tacos and the chicken/avocado sandwich.

The food was AMAZING! Their street corn appetizer is delicious and full of flavor. I had the Birria Tacos and Our server, Christina was so attentive and amazing with her service. Would definitely recommend to everyone and sad that I don’t live closer to visit regularly.

We’ve been going to Main Street Restaurant for many years now and as I think about it now, I can’t think of a time when we were disappointed with a meal from this restaurant. The wait staff always seems to have a cheerful attitude and a willingness to please. The food is generally brought quickly and arrives hot (or cold..depending on the dish ordered) and delicious. When we’re in a rush for some food quickly, they’ve brought our take out order directly out the front door to our waiting car in the street in front of the building so we don’t have to park and walk in to pick up our order. The food is reason enough to order from here, but their service puts them in the “above and beyond” category. Highly recommended.

Busy spot, but packs a punch with flavor. The staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. It has an open kitchen, which added to the atmosphere making it entertaining and fun as we sat at the bar until our table was ready. I had the Skinny Rita and the Cheesy Chicken. Both tasted phenomenal. Definitely worth the wait.
