The location on mound and 696 closed. That was the best around. Always fresh. But this location was awesome. Picked up a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. Fresh & melts in your mouth – as it should. Hash-browns were not hot, but I’ve always had to warm them up when I get home from any location.
My experience was great. Will be back!
Update: I visited one of my favorite BK locations on Gratiot and 696. This go-around wasn’t as a great experience as in the past. Service was hectic. It appeared an order was out of order. I’m the drive-thru. Literally, from the manager to the cooks, I stopped working to try and figure out what happened. That meant those in the lobby, like myself, had to wait. Once they figured out the mishap, the food prep person kept the same gloves on that she used touching the mic, computer, and everything else. This staff wasn’t the same as my visit last month. Again, service is everything and can ruin an experience when it’s not right.
Update 10/16/25: Went through the drive-thru this afternoon. Ordered two Whopper Juniors and a large diet. What I received was a double cheeseburger and an order of fries. I said I wasn’t going to go there again. I need to listen to my instincts.
