We stopped in for lunch during a two-hour layover at Dallas Love Field and were seated quickly. We started with guacamole and chips, but the guacamole really needed more salt and seasoning. The chicken quesadillas were tasty, while the chicken tortilla soup was just okay. Drinks were on the syrupy side with very little alcohol. Service, however, was friendly and attentive, which made the experience little better.

I’ve been to two different locations, both in Dallas airports. The food was fantastic in both! Actually some of the best Mexican cuisine in Texas. But at both locations, service was very lacking. At DFW they were only serving a very small portion of their menu and then told us they were out of chips… then we saw two other tables get served chips. At Dallas-Love we waited a very long time for our drinks from the bar. The wait staff at both locations were not attentive at all.

Got the Tacos de Pollos. Servings were good (probably 6oz of chicken). Everything was cooked perfectly and the food came quick. I was quickly seated and my order was taken within 30-60 seconds of sitting down. Would totally eat here again. I had Valerie as a server. Definitely deserves a raise, she professional, prompt and took my order accurately. Great experience here. Vibe is more up beat with the music so if your looking for something relaxing maybe go somewhere else. Luckily music wasn’t blaring. Chips and salsa are actually good. Chips weren’t greasy, had a nice crunch and the salsa was sweet with a little heat.

This location of Cantina Laredo, which is situated within Dallas Love Field, is a great spot to stop for a quick bite + a cocktail before you catch your flight out of DAL!! I recently stopped here during a layover at DAL, and honestly the dinner I had here was perfect . First, my server (I believe his name was Andy) was very kind, efficient, & attentive during my visit. He had great recommendations re: Cantina Laredo’s available margaritas (including some off-menu creations) + their featured appetizers. For cocktails, he had the bartender whip me up a margarita with top-shelf tequila, muddled jalapeño, and apple pucker. It was so, so delicious!! For food, I highly recommend their Queso y Guacamole Combinación appetizer, as it’s the perfect plating of a cup of queso, a smattering of guac, and a taste of their salsa (with the perfect portion sizes of each for one person)! Further, I had their Chicken Enchiladas (which came topped with a sour cream sauce, and rice + beans). The main I chose was SO good. Lastly, I will say that the atmosphere inside of this place is great because it’s welcoming, clean, well-kept, and casual. It was the perfect spot for me to do some work on my laptop + enjoy some Tex-Mex & tequila while I awaited the departure of my flight!

This was by far the best meal I have ever had at an airport. It was a quiet sit down in a booth experience with delicious food, great service, and lovely presentation. The prices weren’t even much higher than your average Mexican restaurant, which is quite unusual for a meal at an airport. I’ll probably be flying in and out of Love field often and I look forward to meals at Cantina Laredo in the future. Did I mention how great their salsa is? It was very flavorful.

I was travelling for work with someone who typically does not eat Mexican food. I was not sure she would appreciate some of the other places we saw, but this seemed fresh and clean. The food was outstanding, with freshly pressed tortillas. The sauces were great. I had 3 of the five. Great queso. The service was great. Very well done!

First time here. We were seated right away. The service and food did meet minimum expectations. We ordered the fajita plate
(Steak) and it was not good at all. We took about 2 bites and then asked for the check. I was thinking the food would be similar to Pappasitos but I was sadly disappointed . I don’t recommend this place. You’re better off eating Whataburger.

Well, I made my layover after a delayed flight, and my stomach was screaming at me. I took a stroll and gamble when I sat down at Cantina Laredo. To my delight, the food was outstanding. Proportions were bountiful, presentation yummy. If you ever visit this airport terminal, do yourself a favor and dive in the steak casidia… A+++

The chips and queso here were delicious. The main dish lacked flavor and the rice was under cooked. Our server was really kind and friendly and quick!

If you enjoy drinking at the airport before a flight then I wouldn’t recommend it. They have a per hour drink rule. Ridiculous for Mexican food. Mind you, I’m writing this after maxing out, clearly still able to spell. Go to another airport restaurant if cocktails are on the agenda.
