One of my favorite delis on the north fork. All food is great, the soups are homemade and to die for. The specials have all been incredible and make you want to come back. I believe all the employees are family and friendly as can be. I highly recommend coming. Update, after being a loyal customer I come in wait half hour for a sandwich to find out people that ordered after me got food before mine was even started. I understand being busy, didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes, but to finish order’s out of order will make me not return. Time to find a new deli out this way.

Lovely place! One of the rare mom & pop joints where they love their community enough to take hits for it.

Great people, good atmosphere, and exactly what you want from a local deli. Great to see Angels is back to its former glory.

To the lady that said she came in my store three days ago and got a raw grilled cheese I apologize I would never toast the bread and put cold cheese on it. I had to run out for my daughter at school and my mother-in-law I believe was trying to help me until I returned if you’d like to return I’d be happy to make you a grilled cheese on us.

I can not tell you how what I felt walking into this place with a nostalgic feel of the country and a mom and pops feel shop cozy and calm. Stress free. My coworker and I ordered a Italian on a roll. Wanted a hero but they were sold out. You know what they did? Packed the roll so big it made up for what we wanted and it was one of the best we ever ate. God bless you and the sweet woman back there. I hope we will be out there more to get more from you. So generous and caring. After eating that sandwich I wanted to give you guys a hug for how well you took care of us. Thank you. We will be back. If anyone is doubting just do it. It’s a step back in time and such a great place. Thank you to you guys.

Although technically a grocery store and not a restaurant or deli, this is a great place to get a breakfast. It continues the tradition of Fork and Anchor before them, and the current owners back before Fork and Anchor.
The sandwich I had today was yummy, both in menu name and in the adjective (it was a chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, and onion sandwich that was delicious). The employees were very friendly, and the coffee was delicious.
My only complaint is that they are closed on Sundays, even in the summer, and that they won’t serve a breakfast sandwich after 11am. Both of those are small things compared to everything else about this place.
If you are looking for a small grocery store, a deli, or a restaurant with to-go options, this is an excellent choice. They are open from 6am to 4pm six days a week, at least currently (August).
