I did not expect to find my favorite authentic shawarma in Berwyn! That taste of Jordan right here. Excellent chicken and steak shawarma. Every fry is crunchy and crispy. The lentil soup is flavorful and comforting.

We tried chicken shawarma, uncle shawarma, Jerusalem salad and they gave us free hummus. The food was delicious and better than we expected. The 3 guys were very nice and hospitable and the place is clean and spacious. I’m passing by with my family from Detroit, Michigan. I would definitely recommend this spot to all. When we were about to leave they insisted on giving us tea, which was also good

The customer service was excellent. I was greeted with a sample of lentil soup which was delicious! The gentlemen were patient and kind as they introduced and explained the menu. The falafel was the best I’ve ever tasted! It was not dry and gritty like some falafels I’ve tasted in the past. The outside was crispy and well seasoned and the inside was soft and warm. Everything was good.

Shared a meal with my mom, she had the steak shawarma and I had the chicken. I preferred the chicken! Hummus was prepared great and looked visually appealing.
The tabbouleh could use a BIT more tomato but it was delicious nonetheless. It’s my favorite palate cleanser when eating Mediterranean.

Food is made FRESH and it is Delicious. The Falafel was fried fresh and the chicken cooked from marinade right in front of us. The owner was so kind and attentive and even gave us a dessert his wife has made which was not on the menu! I asked why he named his restaurant the way he did and he shared his family owns 4 restaurants in Jordan and so he has 45+ years of family history cooking middle eastern food. Uncle Shawarma was a testament to his uncle. My mother loves Falafel and she enjoyed every morsel. I would definitely recommend.
