Very clean dining area and ketchup and utensil station because of this guy who was really good about keeping areas clean (don’t know his name but he was working the floor on 10/23/25 about 1pm). Order kiosks are an awesome way to help newcomers and speed up lines. Waited about 10 min for the food, which was not bad considering it was weekday lunch hours.
This place is known for its Italian beef and it did not disappoint. Ordered it single dipped and with hot peppers. Good portions. See pic.
Only negative were the fries. They’re definitely previously frozen but our fries were chewy like they had been sitting for a while.
For all those negative reviews for the hot dogs, try the Italian beef instead!

I visited here for the first time on a certain day in September 2025.
I ordered a Char Grilled Polish Sausage and a Cup of chili.
They were very delicious and I was served them quickly.
The inside of the store was very interesting.
The staff was very kind and helpful.

Portillos hits the spot once again! Wet beef sandwich w sweet and hot peppers. Chicago dog, chocolate cake shake. Tried a piece of chocolate eclair cake, it was great. My kids had the lemon and the lemon/strawberry cake shakes, I prefer chocolate. Quick, fresh, and great food. My wife had a salad, can’t wait to go back!

Our family tried Portillo’s while visiting the area from out of town. The food wasn’t as good as we anticipated, especially for spending more than $10/person (even the kids’ meals). We are not fans of ordering via a kiosk. We find that it ends up being more time consuming than if we just gave someone our order. Nonetheless, the tables were clean and we found plenty of seating inside the restaurant. It’s a little difficult to give the service a rating since you order for yourself and then pick up your food from the counter yourself. I would say this is a mediocre restaurant, and we likely wouldn’t go out of our way to go back.

Great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend. Even when my whole soccer team came here we had no problems with ordering. Orders were all perfect. Edit: came here a second time (not too long after the first time) My cheeseburger was extremely greasy on the bottom bun, it was practically sitting in a pile of grease. Still tasted great, nice thick burgers. Fries are nice and salty. Milkshake perfect.

Portillo’s hits the spot once again! I went with the classic Wet Beef sandwich with sweet and hot peppers, a Chicago dog, and of course, a Chocolate Cake Shake. Everything was quick, fresh, and delicious. My kids loved the lemon and lemon-strawberry cake shakes, and we even tried a piece of the chocolate eclair cake—it was great! Even with a large family order including salads, they didn’t miss a beat. Can’t wait to go back.

I ordered the 6pc tender. They are huge!!! Well worth the money. Food was amazing. I really like the set up, seems to make service quicker. I definitely recommend. The decor is pretty awesome by itself.
