Had an amazing dinner at Anarella Restaurante. We walked in without a reservation and were warmly welcomed and seated at the bar right away. The staff was friendly and attentive from the start.

We began with fresh bread and salad, followed by the lamb meatballs, which were incredible, tender, flavorful, and served with a delicious sauce. My partner had the lobster and shrimp pasta, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I had the truffle purse pasta, which was outstanding, rich, balanced, and not overpowering.
The margaritas were excellent, well made and not watered down. Dessert was a great way to end the meal. The highlight was meeting the owner, who personally came over to greet us and thank us again as we were leaving.
Fantastic food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality.

Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

We had a cousins reunion dinner here in a private room and it was such a wonderful and memorable meal with excellent food and service. The decor is charming and over people could fit around one large rectangle dining table. My favorite dish was the roasted vegetables with burrata.

We initially found out about this place by trying some of their sauces during the 2025 garlic festival. They were delicious, so we had to try the food. The restaurant is nice and spacious with a bar area, and while there was ample open seating, we were seated at a table in-between two other parties. We didn’t care though, and we understood the reasoning as the restaurant began to fill soon after. The wait staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We decided to go with the Pollo Al Limone and the Pacherri. Both were delicious. The lemon on the chicken was perfect and did not overpower the rest of the dish. The braised beef was tender and flavorful on the paccheri, and the accompanying rigatoni was cooked to the perfect texture of my liking. Of the cocktails, I tried the French 77, which was light and bubbly, and the Dr. Fox, which was a bit stronger, but still tasty. We finished with an espresso and creme brulee, which were good. Overall, an excellent experience and not what I would’ve expected in rural NY. Definitely better than quite a few of the restaurants we’ve tried in the city.

Visiting the Catskills area and we found this hidden gem. The food was amazing!
I had the Tonnarelli con Aragosta and it was perfect. The house salad was also really delicious and they were kind enough to give us another portion. I would highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

We’ve dined here twice now over the past two years. While the food, service and atmosphere are all very good we cannot bring ourselves to rate them five stars in any category. In spite of having reservations they tried to offer us one of the worst tables in the house which we refused to accept. Moving on from there our waitress couldn’t remember one of the dinner specials that we had just overheard from a nearby table. Her service was otherwise very good. The drinks and dinner were all very good but not exceptional. We probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

My fiancee and I met his son at Annarella on Saturday night. We had a 7 pm reservation, and I was glad we did…because the place was packed. It was our first visit, and we will definitely be returning. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, the drinks were delicious and well made, and our healthy portions of entrees were cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed!

We started with two appetizers: mussels and stuffed mushrooms. Both were delicious.

I had one of the specials for my entree which was an extremely large, breaded veal dish with marina that was perfection, and cheese that was the perfect blend of crispy and chewy.

Both my fiancé and his son had the Paccheri. The slow cooked short rib melted in your mouth and the mascarpone and shaved parmigiana took the flavor to the next level.

We will most definitely be returning!

outstanding! popular and comfortable place with great food! we’ve been a handful of times now and the service has been great. Though our waiter today was a bit flat and his descriptions of the specials was lacking. Still, service here is a lot more than one waiter and overall, it was still great!

Food & service was very good for the most part. The Sachetti was the best. We found it interesting that dishes like linguini w/ clam sauce & veal parmigiana were on the specials menu since you can usually find those on the regular menu of your average pizzaria & this is a higher end Italian restaurant. I tried the veal after a convincing sales pitch from the waiter that I solicited. It was good. Probably better than any pizzaria I’d ever had it at. But not $56 good. We also had the stuffed long hots, Caesar salad ($10 up charge from the house salad), & desert, all of which were pretty underwhelming, 1 mixed drink & a bottle of San Pelegrino. Total $190 for dinner for 2. Probably won’t be back. P. S. The Chandelier room was beautiful
