One Best Noodle is the 1st Hua Du style of food that I ever tasted! In addition, I believe it is the 1st Hua Du restaurant in the Los Angeles area! I heard of this restaurant from a foodie group yesterday so I rush to here tonight.
From best to ok

Hua Dy glutinous rice balls Taste Grade A+ (With the price consideration)
This dish tastes very similar to the Taiwanese Hakka salty rice ball. However, if you look at the picture carefully, you will notice it is more like the sliced rice cake than rice ball.
It has a lot of different veggies and mixed with sliced pork meat and sliced pork meat ball. The temperature is perfect and rice “cake” is just right, not too hard and not too soggy. However, I rather it is more thick like the traditional rice cake so I can taste the chewy rice cake or it will be the ball form like the Taiwanese Hakka salty rice ball.
The overall taste is an A but I gave A+ because with the cheap price and big portion, this is an INCREDIBLE deal and the BEST dish!

Savory crepe. Taste Grade A. (With the price consideration)
I like this dish very much. The taste is great, but I like my crepe more crispy so I have to deduct some. However, I never taste the “original” Hua Du flavor in China so hope I am not too critical about this dish.
With its low price and large portion, this is another AMAZING deal and dish you MUST try.

Taro sago with coconut milk. Taste Grade A (With the price consideration)
The taros were sweet with the right firmness. The sagos were not so sweet and a bit soft in the firmness. I prefer more firm so that deduct some points. The coconut milk is not too sweet, too. As a result, I love the balance of this dessert. However, it is NOT cold enough and the boss actually serves this dessert TOO EARLY (RIght after all the food were served. It is supposed to serve it AFTER the customer finished all their dishes). I guess the reason why the boss serves early because he does not want any missing dish.
If you look at the receipt, you will notice it is only 2 dollars because the boss said we ordered “enough money ” so we received two $2 desserts and we can choose any item for just $2! Thank Jesus and thank the boss for this good deal! However, if this dessert is the original $6.50 price, I would think it is way over priced with its small portion. So hopefully the boss will adjust this dessert price in the future.

The traditional pork trotter noodle. Taste Grade C.
I ordered this one because the Chinese word is “Signature” pork trotter noodle. For me, I always order the SIGNATURE dishes in a NEW restaurant because they suppose to represent the BEST dishes. Unfortunately, this dish is NOT and it’s just average. Furthermore, if you look at the picture, the pork trotter is lean and not much meat, so that deducts more points. However, I do love the soup that comes with this dry noodle. The leek sprout makes the soup extra tasty.
Finally, since this is the GRAND OPENING time, it offers 12% off discount.
We will be back foe sure for its LOW price, BIG portion, and GREAT taste. Lastly, the MAX price item is only $12.96!!! Hahaha, there are many dishes I can try for the future!
Jesus loves everyone
I really appreciate that!!!
And the price is right
