I tried the pork chop. For me, a big part of the comfort of Vietnamese food comes from the variety of accompanying items—such as egg meatloaf, shredded pork, and other traditional sides. This dish fell short in that regard, consisting simply of a pork chop, rice, and pickled vegetables. The food itself was fine, but at $20, I was expecting a more complete and traditional presentation, which ultimately warranted taking off a star

Decent Pho place that’s nice and clean. Food is great. Pho broth was a bit too sweet for me for some reason. I had the wagyu bowl and the meat was tender and great, but nothing to write home about. The fresh noodles were the same. I enjoyed everything a lot. Would go again to try other stuff on their menu.

Lequy in Campbell, CA offers a cozy dining experience. The clay pot rice is absolutely phenomenal—worth every bite. While the other dishes are just okay, this standout dish makes it a must-try spot!

UPDATED REVIEW 2024/09
they moved to a new location where is right next to Grocery Outlet, just a few steps away from the original place. There’s a 20% discount for dining in to the end of September, kind of celebration of the opening. Unfortunately I have to downgrade on this second visit (though it’s my first time at the new location) because the food quality is just average. I had beef stew with rice today thanks to the accommodating staff who let me swap the egg noodles for rice. The soup tastes a bit too sweet, with nothing much else going on. You can’t really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The beef is cut way too square, like it came straight from a factory. The pork has that gamey flavor and wasn’t properly sliced before serving on the plate. The rice isn’t wet or sticky and tastes great, but some were clumped together, which is a bit disappointing.

The restaurant has excellent natural light, and the vintage booth seating by the wall is very cozy and welcoming. We enjoy eating BBQ pork slices and BBQ chicken rice plates there. Delicious food, super comforting with everything in a decent portion size. Solid for the price. Service is speedy. We’ll certainly have to come back when we’re in the area again.

I’ve been coming here since 2016 and I hadn’t been here in almost three years until today.

Le Quy’s food has and continues to be super comforting. The staff would often recognize us and the service is always speedy.

I agree their pho doesn’t taste as intense as other places, but it tastes very clean to me. They have the option to make the broth spicy, which gives it a kick that you can appreciate, but not enough to overpower any other flavors.

We’ve also had their calamari (I call them squid nuggies) and their avocado rolls.

Their bun bo hue, chicken pho, and beef stew are pretty great, too. I’ve yet to try a non noodle dish here…

Here’s to 6 more years!

Update: Almost 2 years visiting, and it’s still a favorite. Broth flavor is well developed and on point regardless of what soup you get. Been trying the other Vietnamese dishes and it’s always exciting and very authentic.

Original post:
Delicious pho and spring rolls that’s low sodium and no MSG. The staff there today was very friendly too, eager to explain the menu to my uninitiated husband and very accommodating.

This was probably one of the best Viet restaurants I’ve been to – overall experience here was great!

Their Thai iced tea was on point and I’m a Thai Iced Tea connoisseur)! Egg rolls were light and crispy, their pho was super flavorful.

Ambience is super quaint, cozy, and just welcoming. Service was decent. Will have to come back when we are back in the area!

Very impressive menu, pleasant dining experience with a family atmosphere. Like the decor with the added touches of new and old blended together. The crab and shrimp egg rolls is not a typical offering at most places. It was crispy and flavorful, maybe more crab. Got the beef onion rolls special. Wow great flavor. The onions were cooked through, beef had good grilled taste with medium well done. It came with mint and green leaf lettuce. The Specials was spread throughput the menu. The wait staff was efficient and helpful. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Very welcoming family-run operation. The broth has no MSG and the portions are decent.

My only gripe was the beef chunks for the spicy beef noodle soup were really hard and sinewy. The meat for the pho didn’t taste the freshest either. But overall, I think it’s very solid for the price. The service is friendly.

It’s my first time here.
Service: 5 stars. The staffs are nice and quick.
Atmosphere: 5 stars. The way they decorate is very cozy and pleasant to me.
Food: 3 stars. Broth was average. Is there msg? Yes there is. I can tell when my throat and lips are dry and thirsty after finish the bowl of pho. The portion is small to me. I was hoping they have large size for it. The beansprout taste like dish washer to me. Maybe I’m a picky person.
Over all it’s not a bad place to dine in or try. It would take me awhile to think if I want to come back there. Just my thought.
