Showmars’ first location in the Midlands of South Carolina is located in the city of Lexington just outside of Columbia. We have been serving fresh, made-to-order dishes, to the community since 2020. Folks tend to stop by for dinner, and enjoy our Flounder Platter, Gyro Pita, or World Famous Fish Sandwich – just a few of our most popular dishes! Showmars Lexington Kitchen is heavily involved in our local community – with a huge focus on supporting area schools and charitable organizations. Highly recommend if you want delicious Greek food and outstanding service!! My family stopped to eat here while visiting Columbia, and we were immediately greeted with kindness and attentiveness. Then, we got the food and that was equally amazing! Since we couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat, we tried to sample of different mini dishes, and they were all superb – fried fish, cheeseburger, and chicken souvlaki. Highly recommend!! Do stop by if you get the chance, you won’t regret it!

Visited Shomars at lunch on a Friday. Was able to walk right up and place my order. Their menu is a mixture of Greek and southern, with lots of fried seafood options. I opted for a grilled chicken sandwich and crinkle cut fries. Also of note, they have Pepsi, so I opted for sweet tea lol. They give you a number to place on your table and bring out the food when it’s ready. I’m not sure how long I waited, but it seemed like only a few minutes, so service was great. The sandwich was decent but could’ve used a little seasoning. Everything was hot and fresh. Worth returning.

First timer and didn’t know what to expect, whether it be a sit down style restaurant or a “fast-ish” food place.
Food was decent but overall I don’t feel it was worth $36. This isn’t a bad review. Just an honest one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location and inside was clean and spacious. The menu options were surprising.
The thing that stuck out the most to me was the menu. I ordered a burger, thinking that they are like most places and have a side (like fries) to go with the meal. Nope, you pay extra. My husband ordered Chicken Santorini and it looked to come with rice, he added some zucchini to the order as what he thought was the side that came with the meal. Nope the rice is the actual side. I know, I know, even tho the menu shows the protein and the rice doesn’t mean it’s expected.
Overall it was a decent experience there, food was good and fresh, staff was on point, but expect to pay for each and every little thing on your order.

I’d never been to Showmars Greek in Lexington, SC before, but after today I’m officially obsessed! You order at the counter (super easy menu and everything moves fast), and then the real magic starts. Nick was the one who made my experience unforgettable. As soon as my food was ready, he brought it straight to my table, checked on me multiple times, kept my drink refilled without me ever having to ask, and even came back to clear my plates when I was done. That level of warm, attentive service turned a quick lunch into something that honestly felt special. Nick, you’re the best!
The gyro was absolutely delicious—juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plenty of tzatziki, all wrapped in a warm pita. Hands-down one of the tastiest gyros I’ve had in a long time.
The restaurant was spotless too—clean tables, tidy dining area, everything looked fresh and well-maintained.
Showmars just turned this first-timer into a regular. If you’re in Lexington, do yourself a favor: grab a gyro and hope Nick is working. You’ll leave happy and full!!

One word: delicious. The food is cooked to order. We took our seat & our food was brought out to us. You definitely get your money’s worth. I had the flounder & shrimp. It also came with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Soooo good!!!

Ate here tonight, loved the fish, fries and cold slaw. There are lots of choices on the menu. Gyros, burgers, chicken sandwiches, shrimp platters, fish and shrimp platters. We had the flounder platter. So much to choose from. The cold slaw was very good too. Plenty of seating . Looked like it is in a new and upcoming area. We Will be back.
