The place is clean and the staff is pleasant. The wait is long, but I don’t mind waiting a few minutes if the food is good. I ordered a Double Bacon Jake and fries. The patties are thin and unremarkable. The bacon wasn’t crispy. The fries were dry and chewy. With a bottle of water, it came out to be over $11. The food isn’t worth the wait or the price.

The slowest place I have ever been to for lunch. Have they not figured out that maybe lunch time is a rush time?! I have have given this place 5-6 chances now and I am done. My kids love it there so I try to bring them. Too bad a half hour wait every time is a little long for just two hot dogs. Everyone working there seems to be confused or moving slowly. Then they are such in a hurry that things aren’t done right. One time they just forgot to salt the whole batch of fries. This doesn’t seem like a hard place to run as the menu is small and simple. I have tried ordering online first to try to limit the wait – and every time – they just “don’t get the order”. It is a joke. A real shame because this area needed a place like Jake’s. Maybe they can find someone else to run it the way it should be run. Never again will I go there until I see it is under new management. HUGE waste of time!

We waited over a half hour for our food and it never came. We finally asked the kid making the burgers when our burgers were going to be done and he said after the ones he was currently making. We had to just ask for our money back because there was no way we were going to have time to eat before I had to go into work. How long does it take to make burgers and fries?
