This is a solid restaurant with a nice varied menu. Not many places have hot enough spice for me but the scorpion spice on the wings I ordered were very HOT and the reaper spice is even hotter apparently! I also ordered the oyster plate and Cajun fries, both were great! Next time I plan to order one of the boils, which also offer very mild to very HOT spicing. This place has great service and cool ambiance – I sat at the bar, which opens up to outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend

The service here was absolutely outstanding! We had the good fortune of having Sim as our server, and we’re going to ask for him next time. Very knowledgeable about the menu, and really helped guide us through the choices and the process (sauces, spice levels, where they apply, and details about specific dishes). Pacing was great, too. Took the wine order first, placed out appetizer first, and just a very pleasant, helpful, personable server.
Will probably try the Korean wings next time, but we really love the regular chicken wings as they are. Pretty darn crispy to start with and tender and delicious. Really love the wings. I had the fish and chips, which was excellent, with plenty of tartar sauce, and malt vinegar and the whole deal. I substituted onion rings for the cage and fries and I was really glad I did. A little small and a little thick on the batter but still delicious and that batter stayed right on the onion rings. The breading didn’t slip off at all.
My wife had the Rolls and they were excellent. And really quite a good value at $32 for two of them. I mean these days it’s like almost $30 for one of them. But more importantly, they tasted really good and the roll was excellent. True New England style.
Now, we would’ve been perfectly happy to stop there, but as much as as a surprise as the chicken wings were, the bigger surprise was the dessert – fried cornbread on top of ice cream inside a mason jar with some caramel syrup. It was absolutely delicious. I was not expecting that.
It completed a really excellent dining experience and we will definitely return to the angry crab shack again when in Casa Grande. With that level of service and really good food, it’s a no-brainer.

This is the best seafood restaurant in Casa Grande! I was told that by the 3 that ate seafood at our table. All of the food was fantastic, We enjoyed everything we ordered even my cheeseburger and French fries.
Vanessa was our waitress she was very informative about the menu and had a lot of great suggestions that made our food experience great.
Her personality is fantastic she is a asset to this restaurant it is great to go for dinner and enjoy the conversation with the waitress as much as the dinner.
My wife and 3 others went back for dinner tonight 8/23/25 she told me Vanessa heard about my review.

Clayton our server was the best. He checked on us every few minutes to see how we were doing and what we needed. The food I thought was OK. It wasn’t to loud as you could carry on a conversation at your table without yelling. Could use some more choices of fish rather than just Cod & Catfish and how cooked.. The soups and salads looked great even though I didn’t order any.

Great food & amazing service! My hubby & I have never been to an Angry Crab Shack before. Our waiter, Sim, was great. He explained the menu, served our appetizer & food quickly, & refilled our sodas fast!
We both decided to try the fried calamari & it was delish! The cocktail sauce was perfect. I decided to get the shrimp basket with fries & potato salad while my hubby had the fish & chips basket with fries & beans & rice. Both were perfectly cooked & tasted so good!
The restaurant itself is very clean with indoor & outdoor seating. The bar is huge & the booth we were sat at was comfortable.
Highly recommend if you’re wanting good seafood! Will definitely be back to try the seafood boil next time!

Food was dry and mostly tasteless although it was really spicy, which is great. I expect a po’ boy to be juicy and sloppy to eat, but the catfish po’ boy was just a few pieces of dry fried fish and some lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The garlic noodles were OK, but I am fairly certain they had dairy in them, and I don’t care for that. The spice was awesome (I went for the highest level), but flavor was otherwise lacking. If you can juice it up and make it more savory/sweet in addition to spicy then I will give it another try. Keep working on it!

Me & my boyfriend decided to try out the sea food boils everyone has been raving about. We like sea food in general but never tried the boils. Anyways, our server Clay.. if I’m remembering his name correctly was absolutely amazing. He let us know about everything on the menu that had a sale or deal. Was very informative when you asked questions about anything, it could’ve been sauces, portion sizes, you name it he would answer it without hesitation or making you feel like a bother. The food was delicious and not too pricey either, I can’t wait to come again and enjoy a drink this time.
(Only got a photo of the aftermath. But as you can tell there wasn’t much leftover, so it was obviously VERY good & filling.)

The place was nice and clean. I got a po boy shrimp sandwich. It was pretty but when I picked it up everything fell out. The flavor was ok with a very strong dill taste. I won’t be getting another one.

Sim was a great server and the food was fantastic. Well cooked with the right amount of salty and spicy. Cocktails were delicious and a great deal on Sunday for all day happy hour.

We were visiting our grandson in AZ. He wanted to try the Angry Crab in Casa Grande. Honestly I had some true concerns after reading a review or two and a few comments from the locals. But I never have been able to say no to that kid 🙂 (not a kid anymore)
We very much enjoyed our food and server! No one experienced any gastrointestinal issues. We were flying out early the next morning so it did bring on some additional anxiety :/ Vanessa our server was on the top of her game, very helpful and fun, laid back, no rushing us through our meal. The boil was delicious and the lobster roll was amazing. We would have loved to experience the outdoor seating but our AZ family mentioned it may be too cold. Haha! We are from MN.
I will definitely be back when I visit Casa Grande again! Just thought a positive review would be helpful if you are on the fence about dining there.
